Was there any point in his earlier videos where he mocks trans people? I want him to eat crow for hypocrisy if so. Maybe I'm used to Coffin mocking Asians.
 
The only thing of Linkaras I follow is The History of the Power Rangers. It is a pretty good retrospective of the series.

Some lessons that can be learned from the tailspin of channel awesome:
- The importance of humility
- Respecting the people working under you.
- Listen to criticism and learn to differentiate the trolls from the critics
- You will be trolled and people will make nasty comments at you -- deal with it discretely
- Don't let your community become a circle-jerk
- Management is important and will make and break your company, make sure they are not toxic
- Be polite when making requests for people to disable ad-block. Respect that some of us have legitimate reasons for using it.
- If you offer alternative ways for people to support your show, it is your responsibility to get buy in. Not all of your sales pitches will be successful and respect that its at individual discretion whether they buy into it.

CA would make a really good case study of how not to run an online business.
 
The only major letdown about the History of Power Rangers is that he promised to address one point in a later video and, when the time came to address it, he refused to and acted as if he hadn't promised to do so.

- Have back-up plans for when things (inevitably) go unexpectedly awry.
- Allow your employees to speak their minds, but preach caution should they choose to discuss touchy subjects.
- Respect the people working over you. A passionate drive is a great thing, but the people who turn that passion into something tangible are very valuable.
- Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue.
- There are company hierarchies, and then there's treating the less noted and popular people like they're invisible. Don't confuse them.
 
Linkara's on Rangerboard and only rarely posts his opinions on episodes. I've seen him twice, and both times he got called out on what he posted. Pretty much, he gave high scores to episodes for the dumbest of reasons. For Megaforce, he wasn't treating it like how he would other seasons. Hence "It's good for a Megaforce episode." Then there was the time he said that the episode leading into the finale was good and gave it 5/5 despite how it didn't work within the context of the season (praising character development we never saw and the silver ranger leaving to look for survivor's on his home planet...that was destroyed and he spent months on afterwards. Superman Returns...only dumber, since he knew there was still a threat to the Earth.). His words, not mine.

Other than that, I mostly see him white knighting other producers while being a whiny bitch. Some TGWTG debates happens and Linkara acts personally offended if people say bad things about any of the main producers. People mostly use the HoPR page to talk about old seasons.

And a lot of us get annoyed when some new guy shows up saying "Linkara said this, Linkara said that." Granted, that extends to any toku reviewer for me.

First, there were those post from a 4chan board that mentioned how Linkara (and his peers) were in real life (some of which could be taken with salt). The further the hole goes, the sadder it does get, whether or not one was a fan of Linkara. Even then, the hole can only get deeper in light of all this.

To read all of that, it only makes one wonder if there is even more to it than just that. Really shows what Linkara is into such as with Cait Sith (is the Moogle a robot?) and PPG (family relations that are creepy).

I remember feeling kinda bad for Linkara when that post first came out, as it was a case of "Well, yeah, it's not shocking that Doug and Brad are assholes in real life, but Linkara always came across as such a nice guy". But, as you said, the deeper the hole got....

I wonder if Linkara has a Smashwords account. It's an e-book publishing website with a very large erotica section and they let you charge people to read your stories. You can give it away for free or for a few dollars. Given Linkara's previous e-begging this seems like a pretty good set up for him for him to earn some cash off his kink writing.
Maybe someone with better detective skills than I can look into other erotica websites he might have visited.
