:offtopic:But I'm personally amazed that Fairly OddParents is still on the air. I can see why Spongebob's still on the air, because it makes assloads of money. FOP doesn't.
It looks like it's a very cheap show to make, so that's probably why.

Watching this made me realize how repetitive Doug's comments are about movies. How every thing is always, "Soooo good!" Or "[X] is so wonderful!" I think it says a lot how his comments are so generic you could easily make him say something completely different without making it too obvious.

I just listened to 2:30-2:36 and I had to do a double take just to be sure that was edited. The ending bits with Toy Story 3 and Beauty and the Beast being bad were also fairly seamless as far I could tell anyway.

Also side note, I'd actually like to see a movie exactly like what the YouTube Poop described with the word splicing made. If only to see what the end result would be. Would it be Pooh's Adventures or Seltzerberger level convoluted?

As of this video, he has reviewed every DCEU film as the Nostalgia Critic but has yet to review an MCU film AFAIK.
I know I'm shitlording here, but Butterchub Wonder Woman is a fucking disgrace. They could be cute if their body had not taken on the properties of a potato. Lack of thirst: reported.

Doug posted a poll looking for the best Nostalgia Critic episode. Unfortunately, the selection's limited as shit to what Doug thinks are the best ones he made, so no voting for Bart's Nightmare or the Christmas With the Kranks video.

I will give him credit in that he's offering the older, better episodes in the polls and not just the newer, shittier ones. Some of the episodes on there are ones I actually did like back when I watched him (although I doubt they hold up).

I'd fucking die if the winners were all part of the skitless, old era.

Knowing his spergy fanbase, though, expect a lot of the new ones to pop up.

As if I needed more proof that Doug isn't as sincere nor honest on things as he wants others to believe he is when he is OOC. YTP or not, his desperation to sound smart does give me some laughs here or there.

If none of his old works win, it's just proof of how hopelessly lost his fanbase truly is - and why we gotta keep up the good work.

^I meant that It'd be funny if the all the old ones won since Doug openly hates his old reviews, and wishes hard to disassociate from them.

EDIT: This woman never disappoints.

As for Doug's poll. Everyone vote Scooby Doo. That was the last episode of 'Classic' NC.

Well, I only watched about eight minutes of the Wonder Woman review were more or less what I expected. The acting was just bad, and Doug was pretty naked about the attempt at "memeing" (e.g. "You'll never be Wonder Woman playing an electric guitar"). Here's a pro-tip, what may work as a still image on the internet doesn't always work as a real-time or on camera performance.

The skit about the feminists and anti-feminists was wasn't all that funny either. Though you get a brief kick if you pretend the guy being offended on a woman's behalf is someone like Johnathan Mackintosh. Once he got into the synopses bits I just kind of nodded off and eventually tuned out.

Yeah, they'd at least delve into some animation history or give some behind-the-scenes info about the show or short in question, like Jerry Beck from Cartoon Brew does.

You mean the guy who started the Justin Roiland controversy on the union's right?
