He has been under a constant string of depression, and he regularly chimps out on Twitter. I think if there is one more video that gets a severe amount of dislikes he will snap tbh, that's what prompted him to make the December video.

Good to know, I'll have to keep an eye on his channel. I actually considered making a thread on him after that December video, but I wasn't sure if there would be enough substantial material beyond that. While I think he has a lot of cowish tendencies, they aren't nearly as prominent as some of the other cows. I've never ventured into his twitter feed though, but I can only imagine how much of a mess it is.
 
How do you guys think things would go if one of the big "critics" (Lindsay, Doug) did an honest video addressing more political / controversial topics, like Trump or radical Islam. I know they sorta have done it before, but, seeing how things are going on, would it be well-received? because i know they'll go super america-centric and be all 'we haven't had an attack since 9/11 NOT ALL MUSLIMS GOD" and forget the shit that's happening in Europe

It's win/win for them honestly. They get to virtue signal, maybe the left media will pick up their shitty video, and their braindead legion of fans will congratulate them.

For people like them it's all but impossible for an honest opinion to reach them because of the horde of autists act as a barrier. And people like Doug are very aware of that too.

Who needs Erod? He's so unoriginal he's pretty much followed suit in copying the "sketch reviews" the way Doug does it now. If Doug somehow committed suicide one day you can bet Erod would follow the next day.
 
Someone should take a modern Nostalgia Critic video and edit out the skits, it'd probably be incoherent and no longer than 5 minutes

The fact is is that not everything has a moral meaning, nor should it strive to do so - something "critics" like Doug definitely don't get and should learn to, honestly. Sad, but true.

Also, yeah - that NC review of Catwoman was far more watchable w/out the skits. Surprisingly enjoyable, too - kinda like his old work.
