Speaking of shitty mugging on thumbnails, has anyone ever seen a thumbnail from that Chris Stuckman guy? Some people are born with extremely expressive faces. Some are not. Every thumbnail of Chris Stuckman reviewing something features dead eyes and a wide open maw to suggest emotion, all while managing to look as expressionless as possible.
Yeah I actually do like Chris Stuckmann's videos, they're nice to play in the background, but his thumbnails are pretty terrible and why I'm usually hesitant to watch them.

I've been watching a lot of PeanutButter Gamer lately. I really like him, he tries to be informative but also has a lot of self-depreciating humor. It stands in contrast to reviewers who have these over the top self-insert characters.

It kinda bugs me that TJOmega never put his cartoon reviews up on youtube after the fall of Blip. I know he's happy reviewing toys right now, but I really liked those reviews and the fact he still has trailers up for them on his youtube channel makes me want to watch them again.

Why do SpaceHamster, Brualmoose and him look like they should be hanging out in some gay bar? I think one of them has to be gay, if not all.

I'm still curious how Strider got Doug to appear in one of his videos. I guess Doug's getting really desperate for exposure.

I feel it came down to one of two possible options:

1. Doug's a fan of Strider's shit (and vice versa) and they decided to collaborate.
2. Strider begged Doug to appear and the latter only agreed just to shut the 20-soming manchild up.

And I wouldn't be surprised if it were the second option in play here.

I'm gonna go with 1 seeing as how Doug started posting Strider's videos on Facebook some time prior to them collaborating.

Well he claims to like both South Park (as made evident by his OC avatar) and Drawn Together. So it's not like his entire viewing palette is Kid-exclusive.

Only 98% of it.
I wonder how he would react if he saw Grave of the Fireflies, Persepolis, Watership Down, and Waltz With Bashir.

I'd say five minutes with some hard depressing stuff like The Plague Dogs or When the Wind Blows and he'd bail out on account of it being "too meanspirited" for his feels.

Which is really weird, because all things considered, Doug's videos objectively are a little more varied/entertaining than Strider's. While Doug attempts to talk about new films, reviews, etc, Strider's is always the same: Top 10 cartoons, Steven Universe is awesome, I hate Spongebob, blah blah blah.

He'd probably complain about Persepolis and Bashir being "Islamophobic propaganda" (the women in Persepolis are shown often unhappy wearing a hijab, and once they're in Europe they show their hair loose. Goes against the narrative of "hijab is empowering uwu").

He seems to like movies/shows that tackle political/progressive/"adult" messages if they have a leftist narrative and end with a happy/idealistic ending. (Zootopia, Hunchback, Steven Universe, Korra). The reason he seems to deride Family Guy might be because the "oppressor" characters never get punished or something. So films which are dark and have realistic sad endings might be considered "horrible" by him (i shudder to think what his opinion would be of The Last Unicorn or Animal Farm).

He's this weird mix between SJW and concerned moralistic parent ("these characters are too sexual and violent and vulgar, that's bad for my the kids!").
