Yeah, as bad as the movie may be, it legitimately felt like Doug thought it raped and murdered his family when it got to the moral. Phelous's indifference over it only makes his review much better in comparison.

I don't really get the appeal of his videos. They're not that funny at least to me and are basically just clips of the movies in question with him pointing out how terrible it is.
He's not on par with Red Letter Media or YourMovieSucks.

The only thing he'll go down for is the incident with Daddy Derek earlier in the year. And even then, nearly everyone (including IHE and Derek) have all but forgotten it.

That's what brought him to my attention too. But he's just not a great reviewer.
Compare his take on The Incredible Bulk with Red Letter Media's:
The RLM guys spend less time on this one movie and you already saw all the best parts and get their insight especially in regards to CGI templates.

You know I think a while ago Pan said he had a chance to join Channel Awesome but fucked it up by missing a meeting for the new comers. He doesn't really mind though cause after a while he said he dodged a bullet there after seeing all the controversy with the site.

Slight :powerlevel: here, but that guy is "Ralphthemoviemaker". The only reason I know him is that his videos pop up in my feed and that he's a friend of a friend. Very obviously inspired by RLM, to the point where his videos feel like Mr. Plinkett Lite. He's also apparently a filmmaker, but falls into the trap of being more enjoyable talking about movies than actually making them. Here's his latest bit of edge called King Candy:

So The Walkers' excuse for crapping these out is that they "get more hits".Looks like Doug is doing a collab review with Chris Stuckman, You know I actually like the latter reviewer, so maybe the review will actually be pretty good.

Damn, Doug is graying pretty quickly. The guy is only 35 but that's still young. My father didn't start graying until he hit his 60's.

What's even funnier is that he doesn't explain WHY he's so angry. he just says "fluff" but isn't specific about it. At least he said what bothered him in Mulan II...Here i just don't get what he's angry about (aside from being a shitty sequel)
