More news r.e. reactions to AVGN/Ghostbusters, for anyone still invested in it:

So earlier today, Devin Faraci (a name in the film industry I don't know) has called Rolfe a "limp dick loser" for refusing to review Ghostbusters. This prompted screenwriter Max Landis (Chronicle, American Ultra, etc) to come to Rolfe's defense - even admitting to being a fan. Once again, I'm surprised one internet celeb's opinion is generating so much interest.

@Hellsperger, thank you for the additional info. None of those people excluding Bruce Campbell (if that's one true) are exactly A-listers thought and probably needed the cash. Still, no wonder the NC fanbase has a ton of cartoon spergs.

His IMDb here. The most famous film he was in was Paul (2011), and was apparently uncredited for his role in it. The topics in his forum show he isn't exactly well liked...

I love how this is the 'Angry Gamers/Critics thread' and yet the critic in this case has been the calmest of all these raging imbeciles.
 
Ghostbusters 2016 might just be what kills the SJW movement.

There's so much (toxic) discussion about the movie from both sides but very little people seem actually interested in seeing the fucking thing. The SJW twats lynching others for daring to criticize it will unleash a nuclear saltstorm when the movie bombs, and it's inevitable it will bomb considering it has nothing going for it but the fabricated controversy. When that happens, expect even more backlash against their faggotry.

Why? Eh... Promotion? It's probably Arin and co. at their most blatant as far as being sell outs. I haven't subbed to the channel since Jon left but I tolerate Danny. I check in every now and then because Danny playing old NES game's is kind of fun.
 
I don't think that's for this. Game Grumps is a let's play channel. They're not critics.

Joe Swanberg is a director who made movies called Kissing on the Mouth and Happy Christmas, and he lost a match to him. Here's Faraci's most recent editorial about James and how hating on the new Ghostbusters makes you unconsciously sexist because it's not for men or something.

Oh, that was just a comparison. AVGN had been lying pretty dormantly for a while until his video brought him back into relevancy (judging by all the reaction), sort of like how NC wasn't grabbing anyone's attention until #WTFU started.

Well he did rate the first Bayformers movie 3/4 stars, and he's been known to go against the popular consensus several times when others claim a movie sucks. So that may just as well be it.

1. A-Listers or not, they've got better careers than Doug, at least.
2. Considering James hasn't jumped on the #WTFU bandwagon, this may as well be his substitute to that "movement".

As far as I'm aware Lindsay, he didn't say he hated the movie. But then again, putting words in other people's mouths is the only way your stupid arguments will hold up.

When I first saw the photo, I only saw Lindsay's tweet and thought nothing of it. Then I saw the comment below and it's quite possibly the darkest rebuttal I've ever seen.
