While I can see the issue I find it hard to see the problem with that. Dude made this his business and he relies on views. If that's what gets views then it's the right move business wise. Doubly so if it's what a grip of fans suggested. Again not a huge fan of Bowie but I can see why that would annoy someone who is.

That trailer hurt me in places I can never show you... and I am going to watch it. But it's not like I got to pay to do so.

Be that as it may, Doug Walker, aside from having a huge Ego, sometimes actually manages to make an editorial that I can actually agree to.
It's not like everything he does ends up a "Demo Reel", it's just that the circlejerking of TGWTG has become unbearable at some point.

Todd was always kind of an asshole. Lindsay just introduced him to left wing politics.

Apparently, things fell apart between them, but they still have to live together because of the cost of living in their area of the country and those dogs they got. Maybe Ken's trying to make things better, or he's just become even more of an asshole now that his personal life's gone to shit. There's no way it's all just Lindsay though, because I've never seen her act anywhere close to this reprehensibly in a public setting.

CA itself also has a long history of providing a home to assholes just like these. OanCitizen and Pedo Dan are both on par with Todd in the retarded politics and GamerGhazi bullshit. OanCitizen even did this really embarrassing series of tweets about how Depression Quest is a work of high art.

I swear Todd's become even more of an asshole since Lindsay dumped him. I reckon he's desperate to find himself another girlfriend and the only place he can hope to find one is within the SJW movement so he just toes whatever line they're running in the hopes of getting laid.

The condescension in his response to that tweeter is disgusting. And he's in no position to talk about the quality of their source when:

a) He linked to Kotaku.

b) He himself is the member of a site which long ago sank into irrelevancy.

Also, Todd boycotting Nintendo? Oh no, whatever will they do without the business of a washed-up internet scumbag living off hipster welfare?
 
One of the things these pro-Rapp people have got to ask themselves is if they would be feeling the same way had a MRA done the same thing. I doubt that they could answer that honestly.
Also, if Doug Walker released a video in defense of Rapp, it would generate less complaints from the core CA fanbase than if he made a video saying The Santa Clause is a shitty movie.

I love there's apparently no middle ground for anyone. Yes, it's kind of fucked for someone to get constantly harrassed online. As silly as it sounds cyber bullying has to wear on you emotionally and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. At the same time this is the best thing for Nintendo to do. Having your PR person be perceived as pro-CP is shitty in general. Yet somehow both sides of the argument can't seem to say "Yo, maybe I should chill the fuck out."

As for Todd, dogg just ignore your Twitter feed. Say what you won't, don't read comments. Problem solved. Lord knows your chosen field of employment (aka entertainment for spergy nerds) is a breeding ground for MRA goofs. Responding to that? That's on you.
