the irate gamer hate community was autistic as fuck. it still baffles me to this today how pissie they got. like gees the guy was mediocre at best, there didn't need to be ten different anti irate gamer blogs. but that's just the horrid fanboy mentally at work.
 
Normally I like this guy's videos and agree with his thoughts, and yeah Trump is a big douche, but really kid? World War Three? Like if Europe has time to do that...

 
Wow, I used to love these videos... I await the Autistic ratings now.

I find the CA movies to be "So bad they're slightly amusing". Maybe they'd be good to riff on with friends, but the thing that brings them down is the fact that Doug gets so snippy about actual big budget films.

Never joined the TGWTG forums, tho. Never wanted to be involved there.

I always found ElectricalDragon a mixed bag of sorts. On the one hand, he's a better cartoon reviewer than Enter is (though far from the levels of Pan). On the other hand, his bias against Sony is BLARMS level of :autism:. I mean it's his opinion, I get that, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't forcing down everyone's throat.

His voice has this odd tendency to squeak whenever he starts a sentence too.
 

Can we nominate this guy for some form of ridicule and malignment, as well? Unlike him, Cinema Snob's review of the same damn movie holds up far fucking better than this. And I proudly state that as FACT here.

Oh, and he has the balls to judge a true classic like Carrie (as of recent). UGH...

He can't seriously think his original characters are engaging, right? Because they're outright pathetic...Then again, he's so full of himself...

Is it just me or his jokes these years have been more and more topical? I wonder how he'll feel after the Trump craze goes down and notice how dated the jokes are...

EDIT: His "social justice activism" is laughable. He bitches about white people taking over blacks but he's okay with stealing a Spanish word and making gay jokes? Tsk, Doug, your tumblr audience will hate you for that

Really, he's just trying to stay relevant in a world where no one wants, much less needs, him. It's embarrassing and he should have stopped completely after ending the first run of NC.
 
So instead of tackling 80s horror movies he grew up on (including ones that were cashing on the slasher genre), he does Freddy vs. Jason :c

He did do Monster Squad a few years ago.

But Snob usually does slasher films, including the classics and the cash-ins, and he's great at them, because he actually likes these movies. Most of the time Doug has this negative and nitpick-y attitude about the movies he reviews, whereas Snob pretends to be negative and nitpick-y.

And you can tell just by watching their videos side by side.

Brad (as Snob) is clearly not taking this seriously and its obvious he's enjoying the film while at the same time picking it apart. Doug (in any and all forms) just spergs about a film, regardless of genre and takes it super duper cereal.
 
About Doug and Pokemon, what's his beef with it that he criticizes it every episode? It's not something like Twilight/50 Shades that people universally mock/dislike (in fact it's pretty much liked everywhere), and I'm pretty sure his fanbase are fans of it, so what is he doing with these jokes?

Is he looking up to losing viewers? Eventually they'll get tired of the uptenth "pokemon sucks" joke and leave him. Is this his "i dislike a popular franchise that everybody else likes that's why i'm awesome!" shtick like special snowflake hipsters are with other franchises?

I think one of the few movies Brad reviewed as the Snob he hated was the original "Mother's Day" Then he reviewed the remake years later, which he thought was way better, but, since he's a snob, he came to the conclusion that the original was better because the original is always better than the remake even when it's not.
