The problem with the Daily Stormer is explicitly in its "Neo-Nazi" nature. Wignats LARPING around with swastikas and black combat boots looks counter culture as all hell, but "Hating da Joos" is not actually a component of Fascist ideology, which is based on a whole bunch of other things, including Socialist Syndicalism. Ironically, Anglin would probably claim an actual fascist state would be controlled by "Da Joos" because it would function very much like the Statist, kleptocratic organization of central banks and opaque shadowy "committees that run everything" he railed against on his blog.

This behavior is always the sign of a weak mind and incoherent ideology. Which made Anglin perfect for controlled opposition by whoever wanted him for that purpose. I cannot say "who" precisely allowed the Daily Stormer to stick around when so many other "hate" sites got the boot over the past 10 years. My bet however is it was not any established plan. Rather, Daily Stormer was just so ridiculous it was useful simply in its ridiculousness to discredit by association the rest of the "Far Right".
 
Unironically people like Anglin need to stop watching fearmongering MSM propaganda. It’s funny how people who claim that they know that the media is nothing more than a bunch of lying propagandists can still fall for their fearmongering every time and act all hysterical.
 
Watching people talk about Anglin as if he believes anything he's ever said is wild. The guy who runs a website called The Daily Stormer is no doubt going to get visits from the CIA. Every white supremacist thing with any audience gets that visit. They always agree to be a honeypot because the alternative is dying in a tragic accidental police stand-off like Bill Cooper.

The nearest "follow the money" event to Anglin's quitting—changing the way he writes, claiming he was gonna do a tv show instead, narrowing his message to you're all losers—was the defunding (supposed) of USAID.

I don't think that's it either, but whatever patronage supported the familiar Anglin™ character/entity did abandon him/it, and he flipped out.

Is it not at least a little bit concerning that at the same time Josh is contemplating shutting down the Farms, that Anglin does the very same thing with his site? I'd start getting worried folks, because as much as I disagree with a lot of what that faggot wrote, he's right that things are about to get a lot worse in a way that doesn't compare to petty Internet drama.
