Anybody know if "The Sun Vanished" is worth my time?
I remember it starting out REALLY strong, but I never made it that far into it.

Nope, It starts of strong then gets weird when the author troons out and adds a teen girl into the story. Go watch the creepcast episode instead, you are not missing much.Anybody know if "The Sun Vanished" is worth my time?

Gotcha. I'll do that. I kinda figured it was gonna be one of those things where the mystery was better than the payoff.Nope, It starts of strong then gets weird when the author troons out and adds a teen girl into the story. Go watch the creepcast episode instead, you are not missing much.
It falls off hard, also the creator tried to start beef by complaining about getting misgendered by Wendi and Meat during the episode.Gotcha. I'll do that. I kinda figured it was gonna be one of those things where the mystery was better than the payoff.
Sad. I remember some the effects being decently creepy. Like the alien spaceship flying across the night sky, being illuminated by a thunderstorm.
It's in the same ballpark. Honestly I prefer the walking sim liminal space games, I just wished they stopped using the same fucking pool room/yellow room assets and try to give me some new and interesting architecture to gawk at.Do liminal spaces count as analog horror? I've seen some of those liminal horror backrooms games people like IGP play, and dear god they are infuriating with how underwhelming they are. Some of them don't have a scary monster, just a gimic of "oh I'm in a large pool room that's really big and endless. So uncanny", and that's the horror.
As the faggot named OP, yes. This is for everything Internet worldbuilding and maybe some recs of stuff like that time I posted an Olaf Stapledon related video.Do liminal spaces count as analog horror? Not really, it doesn't help the author kept breaking immersion like when there was a whole out of character thing about the George Floyd stuff, which I get was well-intentioned, it doesn't really work and some people really got to stay in their lane.Anybody know if "The Sun Vanished" is worth my time?

I love that the scariest part of Analog Horror is now the fear of the author going insane and ruining everything.Nope, It starts of strong then gets weird when the author troons out and adds a teen girl into the story. Go watch the creepcast episode instead, you are not missing much.

Has media ever been this evocative before?
My theory of trooning out essentially being a mind virus still has yet to be disproven.Eve has fully embraced the meme of barely photographed male turning to at least one selfie a month lady. Not trying to be cruel here but I laughed at picking Eve of all names because of the implication in looksmaxxing circles but alas, some things have happened.
We will have abandoned Earth for the stars and people will STILL be talking about Urbanspook.Given that Urbanspook's The Painter ended I got two different takes on it based on the algorithm I cultivated on my work computer:
I like both. Greylock is alright with TAPE 012 was the highlight but the creator seemingly abandoned it. At least Urbanspook finished his series, also on a high note.Fuck you Wendigoon. No one is still talking about your precious Greylock. Guess he doesn't really have a pulse on what people like.
Yeah Greylock isn't bad. I'm just being a Bitter Betty about the state of analog horror. No one really innovates anymore. For a while I was liking the Jurassic Parks ones but even they overstayed their welcome.I like both. Greylock is alright with TAPE 012 was the highlight but the creator seemingly abandoned it. The creepcast episode is definitely the way to go. They unintentionally made the tranny seethe so hard he cancelled the series so there's not really any payoff to be had and the creepcast episode is probably better than any other possible outcome for the series. As you're watching it just keep it in the back of your mind that every time they try to praise it or otherwise be nice there's a tranny somewhere in the world becoming less and less gender-euphoric by the second because not only do they rip on the story while calling him 'him' throughout the entire thing but they rip on the tranny's gangly ass fingers and toes every time they show up as well. Meatcanyon has lost a lot of izzat lately with his faggy ICE spergout but his inner chud just wants to be free and his reaction to TSV's feet is a prime exampleGotcha. I'll do that. I kinda figured it was gonna be one of those things where the mystery was better than the payoff.

I have a feeling that anything that exists in opposition to Wendigoon is going to age very, very well. Between him "going Hollywood" as hard as he is by tripling down on his 15 minutes of fame for a quick buck and his disgustingly hypocritical relationship with turbofaggot Meatcanyon, Wendi's going to be remembered for leaving a greasy stain on everything he's touched. Give it 5 years or so, max.Wendigoon really hurt Greylock in the end
I hate that they all tale credit for this. Oh Urbanspook chose to listen that's why it got better. The Painter improves as a middle finger from Urbanspook to the entire horror community.
I thought you were joking. But he really is selling his shorts on VHS for $30!Alex hurt his own stock because over half of his uploads are adverts for his own Makeship plushies or BlueRays of shit you can watch for free on YouTube
Well at least he bowed out gracefully and didn't stick around like a shambling corpse coasting of his past success. Alex...Where is he now? Probably being fat somewhere watching YouTube true crime videos in his boxers, same as he was before Greylock.
