If spending summer days sitting in a field, slowly getting drunk and very occasionally seeing something happen is your thing...

IT SPREADS

SOON THE WORLD WILL BE EMBROILED IN ONE LONG DEBATE OVER WHETHER RUSSIA BATTED LEG BEFORE WICKET OR NOT

We already have one awful sport played by fat guys with wooden sticks why not two?

Cricket bats look like giant spanking paddles and I suspect that was their original use knowing England. I imagine everyone over there is a fat man in a suit and top hat asking women to give their fanny an ol' pounding.

We already have an unnessecarly complicated sport like football, we don't need more of them.
just bring back jousting,.

I'm a sporting type. I like sports. I play all kinds of sports. I understand the rules of weird shit like Canadian football and curling.

I have no idea whatsoever what the fuck is going in a game of Cricket, ever. I've watched youtube tutorials breaking the rules down and an hour later had no idea what a wicket was. Or a bowler. Or any of that other shit.

Cricket is extremely boring. I can't even tell what is going on. It doesn't make sense to me. Now I don't like sports. But I can wrap my head around the basics of most of them even if I don't always get it. But Cricet doesn't seem to make any sense to me. It's like the word's most boring version of Calvin Ball or something. What in the world is going on? It's like something somebody made up on the fly.

Below was my first understanding that cricket was a thing. And to this day, it is the majority of everything I understand about Cricket. I would prefer it to stay that way.

The Brits are too cucked to ever bring back something hardcore like jousting.

I hope Trump deports and/or scares off that "new generation of immigrants."

A shitty area in South Florida called Lauderhill used to be a white middle-class city with an old Jewish fart minority in the 1950s-1980s, and was known for hosting the Honda Inverrary Classic and Jackie Gleason. Today it's populated by niggers, many of which are muds from the Caribbean, and one of the poorest cities. An attempt to make it the "Cricket Capital of the United States" with a taxpayer-funded stadium resulted in a white elephant the past coming ten years of its existence. Yeah, cricket is "taking off..."

I don't get all the 'I don't understand cricket' posts.
It's not complicated. It's just simple.
Incredibly simple. So mind-numbingly simple that it breaks the simplicity cap and wraps around to being mind-bogglingly hard to comprehend.
You see, there aren't as many rules as jokes would have you believe. The only issue is that pretty much every single rule is subject to interpretation.

I get the impression that cricket is a lot better at the pub with friends who speak cricket so you can bullshit with each other about how current cricket compares to recent and past cricket.

Sumo tournaments are paced great for this iirc.

I don't get why people disagree with this.
here in Texas, I've seen major cases of white flight.
15 years ago, the city I lived in was mostly white, now it's full of pahjeets and spics. the neighboring city is also now full of gooks.
demographic replacement is a real thing.
