Agreed. Abusing animals comes in many forms. Tom Harlock put it best: “Her love of animals is very Lenny from Of Mice And Men.”

I don’t think she hates animals or likes to see them in pain. Quite the opposite. I just don’t think she realizes that animals are living creatures that require care and attention. They need more than just food and water to survive. I think ALR just sees them as sentient stuffed animals, cuddle buddies that cuddle back and give kisses.
