I wouldn’t say she butchered it, but she didn’t use proper ASL grammar and syntax. It would’ve made more sense to tag it as PSE. She did look stupid though and I’m waiting for her to defend her “ASL” skills as another thing she picked up in her childhood like award winning dancer and soccer star.

I agree with @icycold - ASL isn't a literal translation of exactly what's being said, as it's its own language. I'd categorize this as PSE as well. It's like using google translate to translate something from, say, Russian to English and then translating it back. At times, you can get some weird results, which you'd expect because they are two distinct languages.

How'd she do? Meh. She always reminds me of a toddler in these things, no matter what she's doing, and this is no exception. Her hands are rather high, which could be corrected if she wasn't so fat and she didn't have TRex arms.

To be fair, the trend she’s following is super dumb: there’s a bunch of TikThots swaying their hips to this song while showing off their half-naked body. She did manage to make it seem like she’s having a seizure, but the original material was not much better. People that do this trend focus more on showing off their bodies than the dance itself.

What really kills me is the facial espressions. She thinks staring into the distance embodies the sadness of the song, when in reality it looks like she’s having war flashbacks to that time Becky are her cereals without permission. Her acting talent is literally SNL-guest-starring-in-a-sketch level.
