It is possible that the other two bands in this one are a “jacket”. They’re usually made for stones in settings that don’t sit flush, or for people who want the halo look without getting one permanently soldered onto their setting. Super tacky, super outdated and gaudy enough to be plausible. I can’t tell if the bands are connected in this pic tho.
