The thing about being raised by narcissist giving you narcissistic traits is pretty common. I've seen them referred to as "fleas" in literature. However this does not absolve you of your behavior. If we are generous and give hamber this one and say "okay you are not a narcissist, you just have fleas", this, to me makes her behavior worse. A true narc will have no self awareness of these traits and will never admit they are a narc and thus it is pretty much impossible for them to change in any significant way and of course narcissism is a pretty complex mental (I don't want to say illness but I can't think of what it would be called). If she only has "fleas" then she is capable of change, knows these are shitty behaviors, and just doesn't give a fuck. It's far worse to know your behavior causes damage to others and not do anything about it than it is to just be "unaware" that your behavior does damage.

Does she not see how this makes her look worse?

She really expects us to believe she wrote a persuasive essay- which requires some amount of real research on the subject- on why the death penalty is wrong but she later changed her mind based on one single video? Actually, I can believe it. It makes sense why she changes her mind about every diet she “researches” after a single day of being on it. Never change Hamber.

Agreed. I said this somewhere around here a week ago: MamaMeth is back out of sight, out of mind, and Big Al hasn't said one word about her since she left. It just lends more credence to the fact that Big Al the narc doesn't care about anyone else unless they are in her orbit and can do something for her. If not, only a passive reference now and again. She has claimed in the past that she and Eric could take for hours at a time. yet hasn't mentioned the gays at all since they finalized leaving the house.

It won't happen. There is no one in her life who gives a single shit about her personally. Becky sure as shit isn't going to intervene. MamaMeth is far away, and probably glad Big Al doesn't live near her. Becky's family despises her. Eric and Ricky are doing their own thing, as are Dana and Destiny. Big Al herself doesn't want to change because she sees no reason to do so, which o course is the narc talking. In the dictionary under "lost cause" they should just put a thumbnail of Big Al.
