I don’t agree, I’d say the 100 days were the peak of Amber’s popularity. She would get more than 100k-150k views per video and at a point she had more than 100 channels reacting to her bullshit. Many haydurs actually joined during that time, and it’s when people like Alex is Shook, Charlie Gold and On Program Situation became household names in the community.

I’d say her decline started after Vlogmas 2019, in particular with Twinkiegate and Urologistgate, and the hiatus that she took afterwards where she lost weight in secret with intuitive eateen. She came back in January with weekly videos, and the views dropped to 100k tops. During this time, the new YouTube harassment policy was enacted, and Michael Be Petty and Zachary Michael went on a hiatus themselves. This, together with the ban of the r/Amberlynn subreddit, was a huge blow to the Haydur community, and subsequently the community as a whole, as people didn’t have a place to discuss Amber’s bullshit and the two main haydurs disappeared. Other minor channels kept reacting to the videos.

This went on until the Cancer saga, where basically everyone stopped reacting, because for some reason you can’t shit on a 600lbs narcissistic lying manipulative bitch if she has cancer. This brought the views back to a high point, with the cancer reveal trending on YouTube and the subsequent videos getting 130k-ish views. When people started smelling bullshit, the views went back down, and now we are at a low point, with videos stuggoling to get to 70k.

Her videos now are not any less or more entertaining than the 100 days of vlogging videos, the difference is that there was a huge community on Reddit that liked to dissect every single video and analyze every single mispronounced word, and also two or three important figures (the two Michaels and Charlie) around which the community tended to gravitate towards, plus a myriad of smaller communities around the minor reactors. Now that that’s gone, people have no interest in her bullshit, because they cannot talk about it as easily as they could before, since the community that populated the subreddit was broken into many much smaller communities (Facebook groups, new less known subreddit, communities on other sites - maybe even KF, some people may have migrated here) and reactors are still M.I.A. Some of them are now coming back, but it’s undeniable that, unless something big makes the community grow quickly, her views will continue going down.

Jokes aside, weight fluctuations at her size are crazy. There’s a video where she weighed in for 10 days consecutively, and she was losing basically 1 lb a day until the last day, where she gained 9 lbs back.

Like that time, she probably ate something really salty or carb-heavy late at night, and thus she retained a lot of water that her body didn’t have time to flush out. On top of that, she probably overate and got takeout most days, so part of that might be actual weight gain.

Exactly - It's normal to have 2-3% weight fluctuation even during the day. Why Amber does not understand that after all these years I don't know - and how she has been able to remain so consistent in her weigh always amazes me

Amber's decline is really interesting as you would expect her dissonance to eventually break. Her views are bombing unusually hard even for Amber. Coronachan may have an affect on it as people want more uplifting or interesting content as Amber's content is frightfully dull even for today's standard. 2019 100 days were definitely a high for her but she is never going to regain it as the haydurs are gone. It was a feedback loop she needed in fact to some weird extent she probably owes her burst in fame to MBP her nemesis because his style and good views made so people tuned in to Amber and they did. The others emerged after but now no crowd means a lonely show.

The trouble is Amber's trolling is insufferable but for example Nickado's is masterful in contrast. She did not save her money either.

I find it ironic that the white knights that were trying to help Amberlynn, basically helped drive her views into the ground.

The only sort of traction she gets view wise, is hate watching. For all her blustering, protesting about boollyeen, and being hated. It was those very viewers that gave her the thing she values most. Coin.

I’d gather it’s easy to cheat with those things. Some time back an employer would give you coin in your medical bank ( a card that you could use for medical copays, meds, etc) for hitting milestones with a tracker they gave you. Drawback, they were able to see where you were going when you were at work😳

Actually you make several good points that I hadn’t considered, I agree the new YouTube policy probably scared the crap out of Michael and Zachary and I think one of michaels videos got demonitised which helped him make a quick exit from reacting. I also agree that the Twinkie situation pissed a lot of people off but I also think other cows acting crazy and doing ludicrous and more entertaining things helped - we got chantals break up, hysterectomy and moving house quick quickly after one another which was definitely more interesting than ambers endless diet cycles
 
A lot of the more watchable reaction makers also have Real Lives in the Real World. They may also be watching the cities burn and have decided that there are more important things than watching some lying cow mooing away about inconsequential things. Zachary Michael lives in Chicago, ffs.

A smarter grifter could have made bank with everything that happened in Amber's life in such a short time. Cancer, multple deaths, having to move right when surgery was happening.
