I sometimes wonder if Amber doesn't hope these programs hear about her and put her in their commercials as a success story, thus letting her rake in more shekels. Then she realizes that their programs would require things like effort and immediately nopes out.

It's stupid to start a new program when she's claimed that she is being set up with a weight loss doctor, unless she's already decided that she's not going to bother with the weight loss doctor because she knows what works for her.

The pervasiveness of "fatphobia" in everyday society and language is exactly one of the main complaints made by proponents of body positivity.

"Beer belly" is meant to be an insult when people say that. It's not just something people say flippantly, as if they were saying the sky is blue. If it wasnt meant as an insult, there would be no purpose in describing the individual as having a "beer belly" in that context.

Her views are starting to trend down at a time when, had she thought it through & planned her uploads, not to mention provide what viewers would like to see, each video would have at least 100K views. She could have given an outline of her immediate recovery period, how & when certain symptoms improved. She could have discussed her fears & concerns; the same ones anyone in her situation might have. But nope, she thinks people want to see some weird sort of "SuperAmber" who's above the problems anyone in her situation might have.

She's showing us she's incapable to doing anything remotely new or interesting. She's been on the YT scene long enough for most deathfat or weight loss followers to know who she is & what she's about & increasingly, they're noping out.

Noom - it's been around a couple of years now, at least but I've been seeing TV ads for it for about that long. I checked out their web site last winter; I wanted to know why she hadn't jumped on that bandwagon; didn't figure that out. Went back to their website after she announced it was her new eating plan.

She spoke of an "extensive & thorough", (I'm paraphrasing), questionnaire she filled out for personal results. I answered the questions for her - at least I knew the answers I gave would be honest. This 'extensive set of questions' took slightly less than 45 seconds to complete. At that point, obtaining specific results & a plan depended on e-mailing them & presumably, ponying up some $$$; no thanks.

I don't suppose it's too different from other diet programs or apps. I'm not sure which if any, other companies look at WHY someone is overweight or has problems controlling their food consumption. Interestingly, before telling you to e-mail them for your personalized results, it points out that by following their program, you can lose 1-2 lbs. a week.

One red flag I picked up - I checked off their 'weight loss' questionnaire option & filled that in as if I were Amber. Then I did it again, choosing better fitness level & giving my personal numbers. The questions were identical & at the end, I was informed that Noom had helped 32,905 women my age attain fitness goals. That's the same number of women in their 20s their weight loss program helped to achieve & maintain weight loss - a little sloppy there!

Amber could do that by simply cutting out a few treats a day & nothing else, considering her starting weight. Doing that or following any program where she eats more sensibly would work.

But she has to put in the hard yards & the time. She won't.
