I think the inheritance is not what she is looking for; no house, furniture, investment, etc. However, Kristine by now probably knows that Amber’s cancer is very treatable and Amber has probably blabbed on how much money she is making. So, since Kristine and her beau are not likely to make much, why not “invite” dear daughter to live with them. Amber hates Kentucky anyway, and, I guess, it is time to dump the “ole ball and chain”.

For someone who would film a shit and blood-filled toilet and disclose that she freebleeds on everything. No. It's not weird that she would use her mom, who she's had no relationship with, to garner more attention. Seems pretty on brand to me.

It'll be a gynecologist whom she sees first and they might bring up hysterectomy-if she truly has cancer that is- and tell her she needs to lose some weight.
Most gynes deal with cancer as well.
