So I have a conspiracy theory. I think it's possible that she went to the ER for her DEADLY eye twitch and that's when she was told that she wouldn't fit in the machine. If not the ER then she absolutely talked to either an eye doctor or a new doctor to get her first second opinion.
In her doctor appointment video, she talked about a female doctor. However in one of her streams, Eric asked about it and she quietly grumbled that HE said it was a side effect from her meds.









Side note: I also think that it's a side effect from Lamictal. It took months of gradual milligram increases for her to reach her dosage and then she abruptly stopped taking it for at least a month. When she finally decided to get a refill, I assume that she just resumed taking the same amount and her body wasn't ready for such a high dose. She never says dates but I don't recall hearing about the eye until after she was back on her meds.

But hey, what do I (or a doctor) know? Doctorlynn knows best. If it looks like a side effect and it sounds like a side effect then it must be a tumor! 🦆
 
seeing her in TikTok has REALLY shown her age. Compared to all these 18-20 year olds dominating that platform, she just looks like a fat middle aged loser talking about weightwatchers-.... oh wait, she IS a fat middle aged loser talking about weightwatchers! :story:

I agree completely with this. In one of her recent videos she said that she thinks sagging skin is "cute"??? I feel like that isn't true at all and she just wants to seem accepting of everyone. Sagging skin is not cute and is a very unfortunate side affect of losing weight. I wouldn't let the sagging skin stop me from losing weight, but it is unfortunate. I think she's scared of it because she knows people will still judge her (not even bringing in the fact of her awful personality).
 
I don't see how she thinks she's so cute. She's a fucking ugly middle aged fattie trying to compete with these cute teens.

It was one of those things where it was funny, then got lame, then went on for so long that it got funny again. Lots of informative ratings would always make me laugh though.

Anyway Amber on Weight Watchers is going to be a fail (again) and it's not even 100% her fault because from what I know about WW it's all shitty and gay now, the free points are ridiculous and do they really think most fat people won't do everything to game the system on top of drastically over-measuring their portions? The plans I've seen include 3 meals and a couple of daily snacks, often without specified quantities, you can't tell me fat people eating all day long isn't going to lead to a fail. They're addicted to overeating food for fucksake, it's like telling a meth user they can still take as much Adderall as they want. I get the meetings, weigh-ins and moral support part of it, even the cookbooks and shitty branded convenience foods, but counting calories and mostly sticking to a list of foods that aren't garbage is actually far easier than WW's convoluted bullshit. If you give a damn about macros there are probably dozens of sites and apps where nutritional info on virtually anything is freely accessed online. WW might have been effective back in its day when it was a proper calorie controlled diet, but now they just hand people all the tools they need to fuck up, stay obese and remain confused why it isn't working. But it's ok because their rebranding focuses on "wellness" rather than weight, and the "you can be fat and healthy" shit is like crack to fat people who fail diets all the time.

Sorry my dudes, that got spergy. I'll spoiler that.

Tl;dr is that Weight Watchers is a scam that sets people up to fail.

Speculation: Amber only had weight loss because she and/or Becky take forever to stand in long ass lines to get a cart and scooter full of snack food from Walmart each day, but are too impatient to wait for delivery instead (Amber's fucking weird about her food, planning binges and needing everything NOWNOWNOW). Whether she gains from here is mostly dependent on the status of her wallet because as of now I can't see her being able to make up the difference with take out.

I binged sum hamber reactions, and I dont remember which video it was, but Hamberlynn says "We have all begged our partner to get us food" when talking about the BINGE MONSTER. And It just makes me lol so much, maybe even lmfao. And the way she says it, so matter of fact-ly. Its priceless, its so good.
PL i know, but I have BED and I could NEVER imagine myself begging my partner, or ANYONE, to get me food. wtf gurl

Wasn't the whole point of WW just to make calorie counting easier by assigning groups of foods single digit points rather than making the user look up the specific calorie count of each food?

Plenty of people with BED have said they begged their partners/family for binge food at some point, for example when they're craving something specific and the partner happens to be out shopping, they could call them and beg for a certain binge food or takeout. This is what differentiates enablers from non enablers, a good partner would refuse even if the BED sufferer gets mad.
Good for you that you have the "dignity" to not do that? No one fucking cares

No, most of the time they will be borderline manic, scream at them to get it if they say no, and some may even resort to begging.
It's normal to ask someone who's out shopping to get more eggs, it's not normal to ask for what's obviously binge food.
I highly doubt ALR actually has BED, but your argument is extremely weak. Just because you won't do something doesn't mean everyone else with your disorder doesn't do it either

Starting in like the 80s or 90s where they suddenly had Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem and all that other crap to compete with, yes that was the idea. It got dumber and more convoluted over time though, macros started affecting the point count in addition to calories, but once they started allowing more than raw non-starchy produce as free points assuming that fatasses weren't going to take quadruple helpings did it go completely to shit.

And like I said though it's just my opinion, once nutrition info/tracker apps became commonplace for free, the point system became worthless because it was no longer any easier than straight up counting calories. Anything less strict than measured calorie-controlled diets will allow people to fatlogic their way out of it - Amber's famous stunt of wolfing down McNuggets on top of her daily allotment because "grilled chicken is free" is the most classic example. The free point fuckery was (big shock) right around when WW's effectiveness tanked and they had to rebrand as a wellness focused company and quit calling themselves Weight Watchers.

I guess if someone followed all the WW suggestions to a T and actually worked with the spirit of the program it *could* promote wellness, but if most fat people were willing to Google "how do calories work" and able to eyeball portions correctly they wouldn't be fat in the first place. Right now it's trying to half-assedly imply you can lose weight while eating almost anything which anyone familiar with fatlogic knows is a recipe for failure. Their wellness angle is because they suddenly "felt concerned" that they were harming people by pushing "restrictive eating" which is an excellent way to market to the HAES crowd (mostly fat fucks who claim they have restrictive eating disorders). Very scummy, but genius.
 
Remember that not all calories have equal worth, too. Just because a bowl of good quality granola is the same amount of calories as a bag of cheetos, doesn't mean it gives her a pass to just base her diet off junk food because "it's still within my calorie allowance". Yes she will lose weight if she ate 1600 calories of junk food because that's just how CICO works, but she won't feel any better and only do more damage to her organs. There's no point in losing weight if you're still going to eat unhealthy foods all the time, there are plenty of SkINnY pEoPLe who aren't morbidly obese or even obese but managed to fuck up their organs by living off a diet of chips and soda.
