What's mind blowing is how she uses 'mental health' as a handy excuse for just about anything that's not going her way. If she took mental health seriously, she'd be doing regular therapy.

Why not with you? Well, because it's so obvious you're a fat, lazy cunt. You'll use "ma mentalzzzz" as an excuse for anything you don't feel like doing, be that washing your hair, walking your dog or losing weight.
Now, if you'd been honest from the jump online, and not established yourself as a manipulative, lying bitch, then maybe some... a very few, would actually have sympathy for you and your mentalzzz.
But as it is... fuck off.
 
She's so caught up in her own deluded narrative especially the "no one can possibly suffer the way *I* do", that she forgets depression is one of the most common mental conditions around & most people are lucky to not suffer at least 1 bout of it during their life time. She's so far gone in her own arrogance right now, she didn't even vague post properly. She tells us that not washing her hair for 2 months isn't the worst of it. No kidding. If she can't be arsed to wash her own hair, there's no way she's going to make the effort to properly clean any of the rest of herself.

She then has the gall to try & lecture people about what life/depression is like - "we'll soon learn that not everything is black & white." No shit - I feel safe in saying most of us are happily along the accepted stages of development & we began learning the more subtle aspects of life around the age of... 12? The gray area is the most beautiful but scariest part. It's scary because it involves making judgement calls. Yeah, too adult-y for her not to be scared but beautiful because she can weasel out, no doubt; when she makes the wrong call.

Depression can make you forget the beauty. One plus one equals two. She "wants to be reminded". Like a toddler who needs to be reminded why we use a toilet? THERAPY - you learn cues to remind yourself & over time, they begin to work. She's still intent on making sure she never has to be any more of an adult than she can avoid. THAT to her, I suspect, is the real monster in the closet - responsibility for her own words & actions.
 
Is it possible that Amberlynn "sees meaninglessness all around her" because her life actually has very little direction? That perhaps some of her depression is relatively accurate feedback?

This is probably just another symptom of being a Youtuber- barely having routine plus the ability to coast means it's incredibly easy to grow complacent and simultaneously feel trapped in a cycle of mediocrity.

This is also why I have very little sympathy for her right now. In a time where she can't feasibly get out and go to restaurants, this is the perfect time to really commit to her weight loss. She's always complaining about having to do Youtube for income, so maybe she should lose enough weight to be healthy enough to do something else when it's more safe to go out again. Even if it's just a part time gig to supplement her 0 effort vlogging, it'd give her an excuse to break out of her cycle, meet people, and get new experiences.
 
For what I read, Amber has the most complex mental illness around and still function pretty well without treatment. If we are to believe her, she could not have the mental strength to wash her hair since mid February, but still could go shopping almost everyday and along with going to restaurants at the same rate. She is such a trooper!
I thought she stopped her diet because of Covid-19, not her depression. What kind of depression allows you to function normally in most of your daily activities with the exception of bathing and washing your hair. This is one specific type of depression I guess. I also though that her present problem was panic attacks, at least it was last week.

Oh Amber, how will we ever get by without finding out that you didn't change your underwear for a month-and-a-half or that you had a Reese's Cup stuck in one of your folds? I guess she really showed us and we'll all be on our very best behavior now!
 
Im pretty sure most people struggle with hygiene when they have chronic depression but you have to learn to grow the fuck up and take care of yourself even when you don’t see the point. She acts like depression manifests in being a lazy, stinky cunt (or having one lmao). Depression is apathy and it’s your job to get the fuck off your ass and not feed into it. I hate people like her who use “muh depression” as an excuse to be lazy.

"The beautiful parts" ...of depression? Lol where? It's something to fix whether it's situational or a chemical imbalance because if you let it fester it can be debilitating and then you end up like Amber with two months worth of grease and dead skin in your ratty hair.

Anytime #Amberlynn starts whining about how she, at 29 years old, can't act like an adult, I remember the episode of Family Guy called "Petarded" where Peter is declared mentally ret.arded so he goes around doing stupid stuff to see what all he can get away with.
 
whenever kpop comes up in a q+a she turns into smuglynn and says she used to be super into kpop yet can't seem to name anyone she listened to
