Well, Amber is used to staying home so at least cabin fever won't be an issue like its been for many.

Thunk-provoking... it could have to do with the cease and desist that she got from the geriatric porn star. Maybe she started tweeting again to prove that she was no longer using Amberlynn™ Reid for her twitter account and deactivated when she thought she proved a point.

What if the porn star actually demanded Amber do that? lol, and she complied without blinking an eye. I agree with everyone else who has sided with Amber on this ridiculous situation. She should have told her to fuck off, that's what I would have done if some old bitch tried to tell me I couldn't use my own name anymore.

I have no idea what Amber thought this woman could legally do to her. No lawyer is going to waste their time bothering with people hashtagging someones name that happens to be the same as yours

It could be as with the word “Olympics”, on restaurants name, business, etc. The business using that word got letters from the Olympics organization about not using the name during the olympics. The porn artist lawyers might do the same so to avoid confusion. Can Amber fight it? Possibly, but then she would have to spend thousands doing so, thus it is much cheaper changing her channel’s name. With her income going down, she may not have many choices. She will eventually talk about it but likely be a lie.
 
I wonder if her notorious doctor shopping and pending litigation for not paying her medical bills is also a factor in why she's being overly cautious here. The pornstar probably doesn't have a case, but with a little due diligence, I'm sure her lawyers could dig up some far more unsavory things about Amber than just her use of a trademarked name. Does anyone know if those cases against her are still pending? That conversation seemed to die off awhile ago, but she's still going to appointments (I think to pill shop now).
 
#Amberlynn should have kept using her name and made the other dumbass try to sue her. Then the other Amber would have had to go to lawyers, file paperwork etc and either would have been told that she couldn't sue over a given name or she would have gotten bored and decided not to go to the trouble.

I'm telling you, man. The shut down is going to fuck a LOT of people over. I know we're trying to be safe but Jesus Christ. I'm not scientist but feel like this could have been managed better.

Anyway to bring it full circle, Amber is probably in the same mindset of Chantal to still go out anyway because we're "allowed to go to the grocery store", rub her grubby paws on everything in the store and complain that there's no food available. She's just a little less ignorant and a little more saavy than Chantal to go on a rant about how it's not a big deal.

Ooo, I wonder if the hand sanitizer arc is coming up. The anime is finally catching up with the manga.
