It seems that is the main gist of her narrative. She wants to be proud of herself and wants people to be impressed by her accomplishments. She puts a few pieces of cheese and deli meat on a plate and states that she is proud of herself. For a 6 year old, maybe, for a 30 years old, this is rubbish. She wants people to be proud of her for losing weight too. Unfortunately, losing a few pounds is not going to impress many people when you are at 520ish pounds. She wants validation for doing something, anything, but she is not getting it and it irks her.

You hit the nail on the head here. She wants validation and people to physically say to her that they are proud of her for minor things. Why? Because probably, she had nobody to be proud of her when she was growing up. Nobody told her they were proud of her, whether it was family or friends. She wants to hear words that she did not here when she was a kid. Even though she has Becky, Becky saying she is proud might be starting to sound empty either because it has no meaning or not enough validation. Or she doesn't say it at all, who knows.

I wonder if she could actually catch a new sped gf with these filtered catfish photos. When she corralled and roped up Becky she was ~150 lbs less and her internet infamy was significantly lower tier (40k subs at the time they met). If she was as fat as she is now and as talked about as she is now, do you guys think Becky would have went for it?

Absolutely. Amber is what white trash calls “a purdy face” with strategically low standards so becky would have still taken a shot.
 
Slight PL but I was in a hair salon today and studied those chairs...
That is why she won't cut her hair- because there's absolutely no way she could fit her shelf ass in one. She is much wider than the chair.
Probably why she won't go to the dentist or get her nails done too.
All the seats in these places aren't meant to seat a 600lb person.

she doesn't need to be in a salon chair for someone to lop her ponytail off. at this point it doesn't matter if the world's best hair stylist cuts her hair or becky does it while shitfaced, she'd still look like a mutant.

i'm honestly surprised becky doesn't have a hilbilly relative who works at cost cutters and does at-home hair appointments for some side money. that would probably make amber feel like the big time youtube celebrity she is.

Weight is not really the measurement of choice for little toddlefats. Everything is based on "developmental percentiles". Mobility, height, weight, eye-hand coordination, head shape/size, etc. Kids develop at different rates and a death fat toddler doesn't necessarily yield a death fat adult.

But in Hamber's case? Gorl was pushing the 175% percentile at two. 28 years later, she's in the 600% percentile for weight.
 
I don't think she was an ugly toddler. Not saying that she was especially cute, either, but at least her eyes were both pointed in the same direction. I get some antisocial vibes looking at little Al, though. As another farmer said, "empty" (dissociated?). That is more troubling than whether she was cute as a kid.
 
Put me in the so far, short, column of those who don't think she was an ugly toddler. She was definitely already overweight & there is a blankness in the eyes that, knowing how she is now, may have presaged adult problems. Most kidlets that age being photographed have some expression in their eyes, happiness, anger, sadness... hers already look either empty. If she were older I'd say guarded but she's too young to have learned that... I think.
