Late to the vet talk, but generally after the first year dogs should visit the vet once a year and cats every three years, unless an outdoor cat which is once a year. That's the standard, unless the pet gets ill or injured or senior (for chihuahua 8 years is not senior).

:c seriously though posts like this cause my blackened shriveled heart to ache, but then again I have always felt more empathy for the suffering of animals than people, because fuck most people. Hopefully Steve really was at the end of their Rainbow Bridge.

I was amazing to see the parallel between Amber/Becky and Gina/Beth but I least Beth is working. Gina is just a lazy idiot. I hate when those people say that they work really “hard” at their diet and still they seems to not lose weight. Dr. N. does not buy their bullshit.

Will she lose the 75 lbs in 3 months? Likely not.

She wouldn't take it. Don't you remember when she was on Phentermine and thought she was literally going to have a heart attack, but still choked down 3 pieces of pizza in spite of not being hongry? It wouldn't help because she'll just eat through it and she's medication phobic for some reason. She likes to claim it's because of her parents, but she takes Tylenol or ibuprophen and she's been on AD's on and off so that could just be her being her dramatic, lying self.
 
Been reading through this thread and see a new ama like every 10 pages. Is this common amongst weight loss whales or is she just exceptionally vain because the amount is alarming

The one she weighed on is the old scale. The reason she used that one is, it's physically impossible for her to put bolth her feet fully on the scale and it will give her a lower number.

She did a full body weigh in last year on it and she was called out because one of her trotters was hanging half off.

HELLO, IT'S READY was purchased as a reaction to that because it has a super wide deck she could fit on and it would be one less thing for haydurs to rightly complain about.

I'm just confused why she would buy a second scale that only weighed up to 550 if the first one had a higher weight capacity. Nothing makes sense in Ambers world.
 
The second scale, (I had looked at the 'instruction manual' online), went well over 550 lbs. She gave the lame escuse that the batteries on it were... wonky. Change the batteries - not rocket science.

I had to snicker when she was talking about that scale. She claims she didn't like it because every time she gets on it, it gives a different weight. No shit. I can weigh myself on any electronic scale over the course of 18 or so hours & never get exactly the same result. Variations come from when you were last on the toilet, what you've eaten, how many fluids you've taken on board… the .whatever fraction she likes to give is going to change; perhaps even by a few pounds. If it was varying more than that, I submit a simple battery change will fix it.
 
It's gonna take me a while to read this entire thread but how is the pulse of this community?

I'm in healthcare and honestly I'm kind of over the altruism of the YouTube comment section. You can force someone to get better if they don't want to get better. Whether they are in denial or have some type of mental illness it doesn't matter. You can't force a person to receive care they don't want.

Amberlynn is going to continue her eating habits until something bad happens, it's her choice, I'm just watching a person kill themself. It's morbid and sad but there's nothing anyone can do.

So do people still care or are we all just playing the waiting game?

With the 1000lb sisters trending I think the sky's the limit for Amberlyn. If you can get that big and not die then Amberlyn has a good decade left in her.

There is no "community" consensus on do we or do we not care about her health. We aren't AMBER NEEDS INPATIENTers if that's what you're asking.

Like all mortals, she's going to die no matter what. I prefer her to be as fat as possible because the fatter she is the funnier it is. Most of us are here to laugh at her, her orbiters, and the hadyur nation that sprang from her fatty folds.

Both scales she has go up to 750lbs. There are lower-weight models of the talking scale available but she has the 750 one. @StrawberryDouche explained the exact reason Amber bought the talking scale, and it's why her return to the old scale is suspicious (or an attempt to delude herself).

  1. The older scale is the 'parcel scale' with 750lbs capacity, small platform, tare option, and the number display is on a cord. She has returned t using this one and showed it in her last weigh-in video, but she had stopped using it because she couldn't properly stand on it because laygs, so going back to it is intriguing.
  2. The newer scale is the talking one with 750lbs capacity, larger platform, NO tare option, and the number display on the scale but also spoken. She probably doesn't like that it backtalked her by saying 'bye' at the inappropriate moment? However, she can comfortably stand on this scale.
