It's not even live. It is a premier, so she is releasing a prefilmed weigh-in like it is a livestream with chat open. But it is not a true livestream. That is what I read.

like you said, she can roll as many ads as she wants live, for hundreds of people to sit through live before regular ad revenue resumes for everyone watching post-premiere. she might also be hoping for some donations if she Lost A Lot Of Weight :optimistic: since the superchat system works the same in premieres as it does in streams.

other than the monetary advantage, AL probably just wants to build suspense and get the haydurs paying attention. i don’t remember seeing her upload as a premiere before?
