What happened to ambers court case with the ER? I think it's gone from the records. Did she pay up?

The thought of having to waddle into a courtroom probably scared the shit out of her, so I imagine she pulled her head out of her ass and paid. But I think - just as with her cycle - that we'll be seeing this sort of thing again.

I wonder how that really went: did she pay up because she didn't want to deal with the legal system, or did she pay up because it was affecting her ability to seek care outside the ER?
 
 
I'm wondering... Maybe someone with medical background could shed some light on this.

Let's say Amber loses weight from 600 elbees to 140 elbees. Then she removes all excess skin. Then she gains all the weight back. Will her skin be thinner? How many such cycles would she be able to repeat?
