Not only are they absurdly obsessed with it, and offended for the sake of being offended... I can't believe I'm going to defend amber here, especially for something like this because I usually fall on the OTT social liberal side, but... Amber did an incredibly shitty thing when she lied about the abuse and rape. However, when you have a shared history with someone, I don't think the one who changes gets the right to own the narrative about someone's past with them. Amber was in a relationship with a female, and yes she was intolerant when she learned her partner was trans, and that's shitty, her partner hadn't yet begun to transition or use a male pronoun. But Amber was in a relationship with [insert former name, I just can't remember it, I thought it was just casey w a different spelling], she wasn't in a relationship with Kasey the male. I think she should still have the right to refer to her ex girlfriend as she/her when talking about their past, because it was her girlfriend, not her boyfriend. Casey transitioned, but that doesn't mean that Amber should have to rewrite her history to change it to a straight relationship. Now referring to the person in the present, she should use the appropriate pronoun.

For example, If I had a boyfriend named John, who transitioned after we broke up and is now Jane, I wasn't in a lesbian relationship with Jane. I feel like it should be my right to talk about my relationship with John, even though John is now Jane. Because I still own the right to my side of the relationship, and it wasn't a relationship with a woman. And then obviously code switch to the correct pronoun to talk about Jane's present life.

I don't know if this makes me an asshole or not, but yeah, I feel like amber gets a pass for using Casey's gender pronoun as it was while they were together when recounting their relationship. Where she really fucked up was saying that Casey is now Kasey (or whatever the original name was) and talking about the transition. It wasn't relevant to her false story about rape. She could have just talked about a former girlfriend and left it at that.

The best example is at Eric’s birthday party. You can see her next to others. I was surprised that Becky is much taller than AL, and you can see how short she was against other people. In her video, you never see her next to someone while standing. It is amazing how big she is.

It's just text and lines. Apparently helvetica and bold text is enough to convince you that a graphic took a lot of effort to make. Calling them out on their obession is a weird take considering the subforum you are on is designed to archive ambers entire life.

Meh. I honestly don't give a shit about Casey's pronouns because she's a moron cow herself that I really have no interest in. I don't blame Amber for using the wrong pronouns or whatever the fuck because that's how she knew this person. I just get a little mad on the internet when it's one of the only few points about Amber these obsessed "haydurs" bring up, like Twinkies nails or the rape stuff. These things have all been discussed and beaten to death, and she's done plenty of more interesting things worth talking about in my opinion.

There's a difference between talking about her and her shit life style choices and taking time out of your day to make a shitty graphic. It was planned and thought out, these discussions are just people talking about her.
And Not everyone has the software to make a graphic, I sure don't. So yeah, it could have taken effort. It obviously took time to make since it just surfaced to the group.

rotfl you could have hammered that out in Gimp in half an hour, if you took your time with it. Making a re.tarded little graphic about a D list YouTuber with biased information is dumb as hell, but this was hardly a labor of love. Someone just wanted to farm Reddit karma, and this was a pretty good way to get it from the mongoloids that went to her subreddit.

I do wonder if the only time Amber looks at herself in the mirror is with 20 snapchat filters overlayed to make her look passably humanoid? As long as there's enough filters, everything is fine. I imagine several hours a day are dedicated to sitting alone on pillow mountain, covered in food crumbs half in the dark, staring at the distorted lens images and thinking "Yeah.. yeah I look good."

Eh, if you have the software, you could chuck this out in under an hour or so. I don't think anyone is "obsessed" with Big Al there or here. It's just a trainwreck and people love that shit. They just happen to do self to self comparisons between themselves and her, and since we don't really do that stuff, it seems odd to some people here, and can read as obsession when at its most basic, it's on par with the shit we talk here, just in a different context.
