Amber is mentally stunted and severely mentally ill.

We will never be able to make sense of the way she thinks, nor will she survive without intervention.

She is trying to fill a hole inside of her that people coming and going coming in and out of her life have left and the abuse that she went through. That is why she is afraid of restricting calories, the emptiness inside of her probably scares and hurts her. She is unintentionally trying to kill herself if she doesn’t get help and she is succeededing.

The need to control everything in her life is also the main thing that dooms all of her weight loss attempts. As we've seen with the recent Optavia debacle, Amber doesn't like it when she can't eat over 800-1,300 calories, so she inevitably abandons the program. This is another reason why all weight loss plans and diets will fail because they deviate from her path of daily 5,000 calorie binges.

Amber would rather die before 35 than lose control. The ironic thing is that despite her intense desire to control all facets of both her life and the lives of those around her, she can't control the one thing that she has complete control over: her body.

If she can't even stop her body from packing on dozens of pounds, then does she have the gumption to control anything in her life?

You would think that her need for control would lead her down the path of anorexia. It's almost a shame that it hasn't, because it would be years before she would get anywhere near a low enough bodyweight to require intervention.

That's exactly why she controls other peoples lives. She has no real control of herself, even if she thinks she does by eating enough to feed a normal person for 3 days.

I think she does want to lose weight, not only because her body is disabling her, but I also think she sees herself as a sassy thin mean girl type. The issue is that she just doesnt want to stop eating. She wants to be thin and still eat 6000 calories a day.
 
Instead of fucking up her life by being unmotivated, uneducated, lazy, nasty, and melodramatic, she's fucking up her life by being obese. This is because she's convinced herself that obesity is an "out". It's not her fault; it's her disease. No one can blame her. She didn't do those disgusting things. She didn't scream at Becky or neglect Twinkie or just not bother to shower. She's not a bad person. She's not lazy or gluttonous or just plain dumb and unlikable. She has a disease.

Maybe no one will love her for who she is, but maybe they'll pity her for being afflicted with that disease. And meanwhile, it's not her fault that everything around her is shitty. She didn't waste her life. She had a disease.

So much safer this way. Everyone hates her because she's fat, not because she's awful. Her job prospects are zero, not because she was too unmotivated to get an education and too lazy to get experience; no, it's because she's physically incapable of working (and even if she wasn't, no one will hire a fatty because people are too prejudiced). Even Krystle's dad said so.

She has a disease. That's why she doesn't accomplish anything. She has a disease. That's why you can't be mean to her. She has a disease. That's why her life sucks.

But there's a silver lining: At least she gets to eat whatever she wants.

And she deserves that much pleasure in life. After all, she has a disease.

It’s amazing the pants on fire whoppers she tells on her social media accounts make the lahs in her videos seem small by comparison.
 
I’m dying to know which restaurant AL chose and made Becky take her to, or pick up take our from for their super romantic Valentine’s Day meal. You know she didn’t offer to go to Becky’s favorite restaurant or offer to let Becky choose. I would be shocked if she did.

the only people who get to do that are bulimics and they also tend to die a lot. She is out of options.
 
is Optavia going to be the new Weight Watchers? Is she going to go another round? Maybe she has some feelings left and wants to give it another go. Go for it AL just to entertain your viewers.

Gorl is frivolous with money at the best of times but I think even she isn't going to spend $400 on another package of grotesquely overpriced diet food to wholly consume in two days and then say "isn't for her" again. There'll be trendy diets she can waste money on, don't worry, but $400 is a large sum for someone we all know doesn't make what she claims to make per month.

Becky does not have cash employment but gets paid in kind for her work as drunken chauffeuse and asspatter (possibly also asswiper), to Amber. Amber and Becky have both chosen this path freely.

On the other hand, I don't think Eric should get to choose anything, since his husband earns all the income, cooks all the food , does all the housework, and all the driving.

You'd think so but it's AL. She throws away $1000s in torrid clothes that don't even fit her and that she can't wear. I'm just not sure why she's still defending the program. it didn't do or teach her anything.
 
I still don't understand why she didn't just add something healthy to bump her calories up to 1200 or something. I mean, I know why, I'm just entertaining Amber's false narrative.
