I think Amber's "illness" is immobility. Just last summer our gorl was going on regular wommart and restaurant escapades, now that's dwindled to almost nothing.
 
Her Illness is probably just her super duper morbid obesity. Gorl we have known that you are sick. Are you just catching on now?

gorl needs to take her optavia plan seriously. she said if her and Becky ever broke up she would still live there like a roommate. I could see that working if she could take care of herself and her pets but she can't. She just barely got by when the Destiny breakup happened but now her mobility is even less to none. Like it's been said how much different would it be? since we can figure there is no sex and romance anyway but Becky would still need to drive AL everywhere, get her food, clean litter boxes, let twinkie out, clean up after AL....

It would be exactly the same way it is now, except with the possible addition of a new girlfriend for Becky, who better have her own job because Amber isn't paying for her.

Don't forget the tantrum (presumed) she had when Becky put the hash-browns in the freezer by mistake, so Amberlynn had to throw them out (she didn't have to actually...) and made Becky drive her to Walmart shortly before midnight for replacement hash-browns...

I don't think it was faked per se, but more a case of her going too long without food and so being forced to consider - with the brain of a 12yo fat mall goth - that she's nearly 30, living with a talking thumb she has no feelings for, and thanks to her eating habits she's already in the autumn of her life. She was upset, but she's incapable of introversion, so she didn't really know why. I think there's plenty of untapped "mental things" which "is scary" rattling around in her head - that she has severe mental health issues is not something anybody would argue with - but she's so hopelessly delusional that she decided to film her meltdown and put six ads on it so she could get orange chicken shekels and make her problems worse. Amber is simply unwilling to help herself.

It’s been a minute, but I remember she went off of lexapro an ssri because she said she didn’t need it.
She said she wasn’t as hungry when she was off it??
She’s probably not sad just emotional from coming off lexapro.

Amber needs to realize that nobody is buying her "victim" act. Not us, not her family, not her "friends" nor Beckys family apparently. Its done absolutely nothing for her to continue having that complex yet she refuses to change. Thats why I believe in her heart of hearts, shes doesnt want to change. Going off of Lexapro, eating copious amounts of junk food, complaining, its all self sabotage and she lives for it. She realizes shes too far gone, no one cares enough to truly help her so shes gonna ride it out.

The håshbrown video gets me every time. There's so many great little Amber moments packed into this one:

  • Red-rimmed eyes and a blotchy, puffy, crimson face: Our gorl probably had a giant, hoof-stomping tantrum about those håshbrowns moments before publicly shaming Becky on camera.
  • The too-tight choker she wore for like 3 weeks straight that left a moon-shaped bruise/stain on her neck which persisted for countless videos until she presumably had Becky cut it off of her.
  • Making a point to casually mention that she carried the groceries into the house from the car because surely she doesn't just go straight to Pillow Mountain after shopping, scootypuffing through Walmart, sitting in the car while Becky shops, and demand Becky unload AND unpack everything or else the Hot Topic Express is gonna make an unscheduled stop at "NoMoreTeeShirtsVille"! Amber does her share, Honey Boo Boo!
  • Amber fidgeting and pulling at her neckline the whole time because it appears that our fashionista is wearing yet another of her suuuper cyuuute tops backwards:
