Funny enough, the term deathfat was actually coined by HAES "fatshion" activist-types themselves about a decade (dear god) ago as a play off of "morbid obesity." It was supposed to be a joke, but it's so obviously true that they're killing themselves that every reasonable person was happy to use the term 'deathfat' for them as well.

I've personally known guys who smoked meth and crack daily for decades and it didn't kill them. Amber's addiction will kill her faster then alot of drug addictions kill the users. Addicts to drugs aren't using at the rate Amber is, she's weird even for a deathfat for her weight gain. She's incredibly young to be as big as she is, and already showing signs of health issues associated with deathfats in their 40's.

No, her food addiction is far more dangerous then drugs. A good dealer doesn't sell you shit that'll kill you quick. They sell quality product that might never kill you. But McDonalds? Have your 600 calorie burger...three times a day, with your large milk shake. Naw, people keep expecting her to last years, but she won't. If she comes into an ER for pain control etc for any thing, she's looking at a very long stay. Though I also think she knows this. If she ever has an accident, she's either dead, or bed bound, after potentionally months in a hospital.

Her parents had drug problems and are looking more likely than ever to outlive her. I guess their addiction brings them into contact with the law and (admittedly low quality) rehab programmes compared with an overeater.

Sorry nurse person, but you're a sperg. You completely miss the point by screaming at her that drug addicts can die if they aren't detoxed under medical supervision. The point is, once you're detoxed you don't need the drug or alcohol to survive. But we all need food to live so a "food addict" is tortured every day of their lives. That's what Amber is getting at; whether you buy into that or not is also irrelevant in this context. Getting mad at Amberlynn is like getting mad at a housecat. Why bother?

Apparently, Amberlynn's dietician told her she can "eat anything she wants" long as she eats between 2500 and 3000 calories. A few health specialists have tried to reach out to her as concerned individuals offering to become acquaintances and give advice, but not as professionals to be hired. Amber is lying, as no sane dietician or nutritionist would tell her this. They would want her to stay in a calorie deficit far less than 2500 cals. A dietician would tell her to eat healthy foods at home and alter her dietary practices, the fucking whole point of a dietician is to change diet for the better. Amber wants to convince herself that all calories are equal. Apparently sodium, sugar, and fat intake do not need adjusted either, you heard it from the Queen of moderation herself!

A dietitian who doesn't have a pie for a head is going to see that she's a hamplanet and so give her a diet she actually has a hope of following. If Amber ate 3000 calories of fast food a day and nothing else, her health would improve. You have to remember Amber is so monstrously obese that she could die at any time.

Honestly if some one did give her advice, I wonder if it's so they can get asspats? 'Hey I tried to help her..' but she died.

I still doubt any one did is the thing of course.
