She sure does. She is an expert in all things diet related because one time she lost 89 lbs. (She doesn't give much lip service to gaining that back and more though.)

She can also allegedly taste how many calories are in food. "This had 300 calories but it tasted like 750 calories..."

Okay, but Amber is not well. Her body has some extreme limitations that makes eating about the only thing she can enjoy comfortably. She was never taught how to be accountable for her own well-being and has trauma she refuses to deal with. The only thing that might be a real wake-up call to her at this point is a massive scare like a heart attack. As long as she can eat and make YouTube money nothing but an extreme sudden event is going to be a wake-up call.

Is this situation her fault? Yes, absolutely 100%. Is there a rock-bottom for Amber? Probably not unless it almost kills her.

The one that gets to me is when they're going to a restaurant and she pulls that "are you excited?" shit. I've seen her do it with both Destiny and Becky now.

I mean, Amber, we know food is your best friend, but not everyone gets googly-eyed over the fucking Cheesecake Factory. It's not that special.

I was going to say that these phrases perfectly illustrate Amber's mental age - not as she claim, that of a teenager, but that of a very small child; but the truth is, there is more to those.

- many women put up this dizzy, helpless facade thinking that this is what men want - a damsel in distress who they, the white knights, are going to care for and help with everything. The problem is that most men quickly grow tired of solving/fixing everything in such woman's life.

- Amber has very little going on in her life, and because her channel was supposed to be about something she's given up on a long time ago (weight loss), she needs to come up with ways to make it seem like she lives an exciting life. Because she can only think in extremes (her viewers are either fans or haters, she's either depressed or super happy etc) the only two reactions to things happening in her life are described as "scared" or "excited". Amber the writer Reid.
 
I actually want to see the exceptional people attending the party of our exceptional gorls. I rarely see this household engaging with other people so it'll be interesting to see if other people they know irl are normal or exceptional

I thought Rickie was estranged from his family because he's a homo and they're disapproving bumpkins. The only people in his life seem to be Autistic Kermit, Thumb Slug and Mount Thrushmore. I know Becky has some family who are willing to be seen with her. Eric might have family but I can't sit through more than two seconds of him talking so it's a mystery.
