Like most (all?) people on youtube, she is not creative and has no personality. She just tries to copy other people right down to the limited editing she does. She never actually talks about anything because she has nothing to say. She rambles through videos just to go longer so her videos have more ads. Her only "creative" choice is looking like the rest of youtube because that is how you become successful. It is a cargo cult.
This, along with her laziness and low intelligence, is the crux of it. You can have no talent on YouTube as long as you have an interest and ability to talk about it. Those who build tiny houses, or hop freight trains, or collect antique electronics or something, can have perfectly interesting channels just showing off their hobbies. Others turn their jobs into content, like Uber drivers, bounty hunters, or pawn shop clerks. These can also result in interesting videos; it doesn't really matter if you have a personality or not if the video from the job is compelling.
YouTubers with none of the above but a desire to be famous and/or make money are fertile lolcow terrain. If you make a channel that will only be about
you, but you don't know or do anything, the viewer really has no choice but to leave comments about
you. Since you can't do anything well or competently, those comments will usually be negative.
Amberlynn and Becky are extraordinary in their general disinterest in and ignorance of life. Neither one has ever attempted to learn
anything in their whole wasted lives. You would think that after 850 pounds between them, they might be interested in learning how to cook a real recipe... Or learn about LGBT issues, or learn about Kentucky, or learn about dogs, or learn how to make earrings or something. Amberlynn says she loves writing; why not learn to write? Or at least read a few great novels by great writers to get a feel for it? Too lazy and dumb, that's why.
She had one topic, which could have worked out fine for her, if only she had learned about it: weightloss. However, she has so completely bollixed that up that she is left scrambling for something else to make her videos about, and is coming up against the realization that she has
nothing. Foodie Beauty is in exactly the same boat right now, which is why she is trying off-topic stuff like murder mysteries, but she has no talent for that either. They are famous for eating and getting fatter, and that is what viewers expect to see from them.
That's why a combination of lazy and dumb is deadly. You are too lazy to learn and too dumb to absorb knowledge or even realize you have none. So, Amberlynn tries to mimic better Youtubers' edits and personalities without insight into
why they are better, and fails because in the end all she knows is filling her gut.
