So AL tweeted this today. Thought it was interesting that she didn't actually deny it or use her usual laughing emoji deflection.

But I don't know, maybe it's the fact that there's been no weigh in after explicitly promising to be accountable, Eric's food orgy/shopeeen Lexington birthday extravaganza, the failed-and-forgotten 2000 step plan, or the deep-fried sushi platter she posted this weekend. Or perhaps it's the fact that in her latest vlog she's somehow gained another chin and her pants are so overburdened they are actually see-through now.

Also, (apologies if this is :late:, it may have been mentioned in another thread but I don't see it here) I believe Michael Lawrence deduced this by looking at her myfitnesspal tracker. It says she has 341 elbees to go in order to reach her goal- which has always been the elusive "199 lbs".

One last thing of note, she's removed bolth her SW and CW on her CurvyCaloriess IG. Not a good sign, if she had lost even a single ounce she'd be screeching that shit from the rooftops.

She actually removed those more than a week ago now. Her weight seems to be ballooning out of control now, if that 541 reading is real. Removing her weight does accord with the idea that she's weighing herself and just not telling anybody.

At this point she will not stop gaining unless she is forcibly denied food. Her mind is broken and the inconveniences and bodily horrors incurred by being 540 elbees make her want to eat more rather than less, because she deals with any confrontational thought whatsoever with food. She's trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

She asks "what makes you think I am 60 from 600?" as if it were an absurd statement, so far off the mark as to be ridiculous. However, she admitted on video to being 531 at the end of August, which is 69 from 600. Even if the guy is wrong about 541, we're talking only 10 pounds out of 531, or an error of less than 2%. Either way, she can end up 6 feet under.

Okay I may be way off the mark with this theory but here goes:

1. She did a casting call for MSHPL but they told her she needed to gain more weight before they could cast her. Let's face it, TLC is hardly the most ethical of channels and they know she would probably draw in a big number of viewers given her social media presence and the fact she is young and female. This would explain why she has gone into hiding in order to gain those elbees. Gorl's got a JOB to do.

2. The shopping spree at Torrid is so she will have enough outfits for filming. Gotta wear a pretty dress when the camera crew is filming you reeeeeeeeeeeing around Walmart on a scootypuff.

Not really a theory, but the gaslighting of Becky shows how nasty AL really is. By filming Becky she is ensuring that she also gets her own share of nasty comments (to further quash any existing self-esteem) , while also reinforcing to her that everybody is just a nasty haydur and that Amber truly is the victim in all of this. Becky hasn't got a chance in hell of escaping.

It’s like any addict who can’t stop the train even though they want to get off. Like it was said, the fact that she continues to gain only brings on shame which is what the disease of the mind uses to keep them using.

I believe she is sincere about wanting to lose, but she isn’t in enough pain yet to say “enough!”. She is surrounded by enablers- Becky, Kermit with the bad hair, and ALL of her viewers. amberlynn isn't depressed because she's morbidly obese. she's depressed because she doesn't accept herself. amberlynn is and always will be a fat girl. she loves food and to binge. that's just who she is. but she's in denial and makes herself believe she wants to loose weight. that's what makes her depressed. her wants and needs are in conflict. if she accepts her fat life, she'll be happier.

she will never be skinny. even with gastric bypass, she'll eventually gain all the weight back.

Hell, she'll never even get to a point where she can have WL surgery. There's a psychological evaluation that has to be passed in order to even begin the process. There is SO much discipline involved in even getting to a weight where the surgery is possible. Then, she would have to be incredibly disciplined in her eating habits after surgery to avoid complications. After that, all bets are off anyway because that stomach would be stretched back out within a few years and we're back to bed bound town. It's never going to happen that way and since we all know she is not capable of controlling herself, it's never going to happen any other way. She will continue to increase until she either decides to seek professional help (and it will take a team of professionals like dietitians, psychologists, medical practitioners, physical therapists, etc) or takes up permanent residence on pillow mountain.
