I doubt she's a true fan of the show or that she's watched all the other seasons. (During the Destiny era, she claimed to be such a fan of TWD and even spoiled Glenn's death for Destiny. After the breakup she never mentioned the show again but on Ask FM she claimed TWD was her thing not Destiny's).

Also: When Destiny and Dana went to Comic Con, she was asked if she would ever want to go with Becky and according to Amber, they wouldn't find that interesting . My point being Amber is a poser and will develop an "obsession" for anything trendy/popular....much like how she ran out to buy a copy of IT despite it being way above her reading level.

It's very much this. She has no authentic personality. It's been mentioned numerous times and confirmed by her own vlogs more times than I can enumerate that she takes on characteristics of whoever she's with at the time. Maybe it's a left over pathological need to fit in from her foster days? Even if it is, it's turned into yet another tool in her manipulation toolbox. You can see her glide through personalities like a submarine in water through the Krystle, Dusty, and now Becky eras. "I had everything I needed in foster care", she tells us in one video. Whoever was taking care of her certainly made sure she was well-fed, since she claims to have been well over 200 pounds as a teenager. The only real problem during her foster care years, it seems, was of her own making; she cut school repeatedly, creating the profoundly dumb woman-child we know today.

This is like her stories about smoking and weed. She has claimed to have never done it, and that just the smell of a cigarette will make her violently ill. However, in other videos she claims she ran around smoking, drinking, and getting high every day. They can't both be true, so which is it?

I think that she, like most foster care kids, at least was given shelter and food and the opportunity to attend school. Maybe she was cheated in the love department (which I think is potentially the reason why she wants loyal friends to feed her in bed), but a lot of kids with real parents don't always get shown much love and still turn out okay. I am not willing to take her foster care stories at face value. She provides zero specifics, and has gone on record several times saying her foster care was fine. This year, she has been pointing the finger at them because her old excuses were just too lame in the face of a 70 pound weight gain in 9 months...

Well, like you said: you are the company you keep. I think anyone would eventually start to derail into pit stop 'clockwork orange' with a nearly 600 pound landmass going REEEEEE all the damn time. I get what you're trying to say. I'm bored so I googled this. There's an overwhelming amount of content on the internet about narcissism. Here's just one snippet I found that reminds me of Amberlynn:
