I don't follow her on Twitter, but by how you said this, it seems that she had no idea childhood traumas can effect mental health. She lived under a rock for 27 years and is only now realizing things with the help of Doctor Twitter.

I just looked into it and all of the tweets seem to reference the one at the bottom by Danelle Hallan. I had no idea who she was but apparently she has a YT channel with 200k subs that focuses on missing people and unsolved mysteries.
Leave it to Amber to make this all about herself and retweet everything that could possibly apply to her situation. One of the retweets just says "Guess they never took a psychology class."
Unlike our gorl who went to one whole year of college!

While I have no doubt her childhood plays a large part in her issues, I have a bad feeling we are going to be subjected to a lot of lectures from Professer Al about childhood trauma and it's connection to the Binge Monster in the coming days.
Because I think you're right, she never truly put the pieces together until now and it also gives her a great opportunity to rationalize those trips to the Cheesecake Factory.

Yep, don't get it twisted. Danelle has a pretty good channel for people who are true crime :autism:. I guarantee she was referring to someone who became violent due to childhood abuse. Not someone who is super morbidly obese because they had it tough as a kid.

Oh yes by all means hide behind the wall of trauma now. Please Amber, people have made it through terrible, unspeakable acts during childhood and still manged to live healthy, well adjusted lives. They go to therapy and work on themselves and understand they deserve a good life and won't let their past dictate their future. It's the ones like AL who use it as a wall and a shield to give them some sort of barrier to let them keep doing the shit that's hurting them with no intention to stop. All they want is enough pity to excuse their bad behaviors but they never ever intend on stopping. It's all a ploy they just want the pity to excuse their shit choices, then they make declarations to stop and then fuck up and cycle continues. Now she is finding other cunts on Twatter who think the same way and will gravitate her moon to them but in no way this will HELP her it will make her worse..

Who knew that one of Amber's many talents includes having such an impeccable memory?
She can't recall any of the names of Becky's relatives who died tragically, but she can remember every detsil of a random night 4 months ago. Amazing.

And I love that she thinks anyone would believe she'd actually drag her ass out of bed to take poor Twinkie outside to pee. If she'd chosen a more reasonable lahh like "I got up to quickly devour a box of Twinkies" I'd be more inclined to consider it.

Sleep apnea doesn't exactly work like that. You have micro-awakenings that take you out of the restful, restorative phase of sleep. You don't actually fully wake up. I don't have a fitbit though so maybe I just don't know how to read that image. If you are fully waking up, there's something else going on.

I'm not saying she doesn't have sleep apnea (I'm sure she does at her size). But, if she's fully waking up during the night, at her size, the culprit is likely congestive heart failure and/or dependent alectasis (lungs collapsing from being crushed). Either of those things could fully awaken her.

For someone who spends all her day thinking about herself, she truly does have very little self awareness.
Realizing that mental health problems are often result of a problematic and difficult childhood is really nothing more than making 2+2, especially for her, who knows she has a traumatic past.
She didn't forget because of the trauma - like Emilia Fart told in one of her videos about what made her be like she is now -, she knew that shit had happened and never questioned it once! It's ridiculous!

So far all we know that the "therapist" said is that Ambers childhood is the reason she's a fat fuck and there is "no way" she can fix her weight problem without addressing these issues first (which for Amber translates as another convenient excuse to remain a fat fuck).
Oh and people on YouTube are big meanies which affects her mental health which is why she's still a fat fuck. Basically the same shit she's been parroting for at least the last year. No mention of taking responsibility, being in control of your own life, or at the very least taking some steps towards not becoming 600 pounds by the end of the year (nutritionist, actually physically going to the doctor, etc.)

Interestingly and more to your point, Amber’s still not getting what Fitbit tracks as “deep” sleep. Because Amber basically quoted what the Fitbit site says while trying to prove her point about times she was awake, I’ll do the same as evidence that she likely does have apnea: Fitbit categorizes deep sleep as the stage in which “breathing becomes slower and muscles relax while heart rate usually becomes more regular.“ Therefore, we can deduce that Amber’s body can not function in a way to allow much deep sleep (which is arguably good for mood and the immune system) because if her muscles were to relax, her lungs would collapse under her extra weight.

I blew up her sleep profile. There are a couple "5 minutes awake" moments, but a there are a TON of micro wake ups. 19 to be exact!

Your past isn't a crutch to lean on by any means.

Either way she's a dumbass because yes, it's very serious. PL one of my friends works as a sleep tech and she told me all the shit sleep apnea does to you. For one thing, it hardens your veins and arteries because every single time you stop breathing, your heart compensates by jacking your blood pressure up HIGH because the brain is going, "where the fuck is my oxygen?!" She's aging out her heart super fast on top of the stress general obesity puts on it.
