I still contend that it is a texture issue. My blood just boils when I see AOpen a tin of veggies. Why can't she buy fresh? A bit of fresh carrots, cauliflower, and snap peas is just delicious steamed - with a pat of butter. As a general rule, it's best to keep cooking time, temperature and the amount of liquid to a minimum. That's why steaming is one of the best ways to cook most vegetables. Yet she throws her nasty canned beans in a pot of boiling water. Dam, I wish she would learn how to cook.
Hamplanet wants to stuff as much food down her maw in the shortest time possible. She eats to feel full and softer textured foods make that as easy as possible.
This is why she eats canned veggies. She can chew once and swallow a serving spoon sized bite in 10 seconds or less.
Same reason she only eats tube meat. Easier to swallow. Rice? Doesn’t require chewing. Neither does ice cream, peanut butter cups, etc. The only thing she eats that requires moderate chewing is chips.
