I really don't get gorls like the original artist. If you really believe AL is beautiful as-is you wouldn't draw her 300 lbs lighter. Either stick with your body-positive message or admit you think she looks terrible. How is this any different than photoshopping someone skinnier? Tbh the fixed version looks more like her and still captures a cute drawing style so why didn't she do that?

Honestly if the artist hadn't told me who that was supposed to be I would've never guessed. She just drew a random white chick and called her AL. As for Becky, the only thing right is the baseball cap. It's just sorta boring tbh. There are ways to draw AL that aren't mean but this isn't it. Idk if this has been posted here but I think this drawing of AL (esp in comparison) is particularly good. It isn't mean-spirited, is very expressive, and you can tell right away from looking at it who it's supposed to be:

I think I can probably guess the answer to this question already, but has AL ever retweeted or showcased any reasonably realistic fanart of herself?
I truly am curious to know what she sees when she gazes at herself in the mirror or eye-fucks the viewfinder while demurely playing with the loose tendrils of gross, unwashed, unbrushed hair that has managed to escape her greasy, matted bun.
