Thats why I felt bad for them for so long. Time to put my "fell for it again" awards in the closet with the rest of them. Those types of people will always be in a miserable situation no matter what.Beggy has always reminded me of the archetypal depressed girl we've all met at one point or another. You know, the one who didn't have the courage or strength to do anything that she really wanted to do? The one who focused on everything that she didn't have instead of everything she did? I could never feel bad for her because all of her problems are of her own making. She's weak-willed and passive and she'll never change.
They may have started out happy but it quickly became apparent that it was a trap and beck was too weak and dumb to leave anyway. Your spot on, beck is definitely the token depressed person and despite wanting to leave, they never really would. Becks family had to basically back beck into a corner like amber did to get them to make a decision even if it's also what they wanted. In a weird way, she was probably happiest when she was with Amber: she didn't have to worry about money, or rent, or food, nothing, and that's why she stayed for so long. It's the dream of every piece of white trash to get involved with someone wealthy like Amber. I've always thought that it was Becky's family that influenced her decision to break up with Amber, because she's never been good at making choices for herself.
I still say she sometimes but im not 100% if they do she as well as they/them. If any mentally ill misogynists try and internet fight me over it I'll give it a go, playing in the mud is part of the fun. Also: Becky is a girl. You can use female pronouns to refer to her. You don't have to posture yourself to the demands of mentally-ill misogynists here.
