I dont really think it matters a whole lot in the grand scheme of things whether she starts a new channel or gets her old one remonetized.

If she does happen to get her channel remonetized, it will be after she deletes a shit ton of offending content, thereby reducing a lot of analytics youtube uses to pay her out. Her CPM wont be much higher on a cleaned up remonetized account than it would be if she just got monetized on a second account. The only real difference would be having an already established subscriber base.

Its an uphill battle either way. If Hamber was smart, shed just create a second channel now and not wait until shes denied to do so, get the ball rolling on monetization.

But shes not smart which is why shes got a thread 4500 pages long on the interwebs pointing out why shes so fuckin retarded.

I don't think its a problem of stupidity. I think its a problem of laziness. There are a billion videos on youtube that show you how to set this up. She is on youtube and forums constantly. She could have spent half a day looking up how to do this but she just didn't feel like it. I say half a day because the normal person could take about 30 minutes to figure this out

As far as I can tell, it’s been a rumor for years. There were hints of trouble at one point like Eric being on Tinder or removing pics of Rickie from his Facebook. No actual confirmation from either (to my recollection), though. Alexis claimed it happened in 2024, but it’s Alexis. Last (in thread) sign of life for Eric showed Rickie and him together as of earlier this year. While they might have separated and/or reconciled at one point, doesn’t seem they legally divorced.

Edit: @Clotso Coof quoted below the confirmation from Lex, complete with a text between Amber and Eric from March 2023 where he says that the divorce was just finalized

If she were to actually go blind, I wonder if she'd even bother learning braille. Hell I'm doubting if she even could. In the long time I've watched her, genuinely the only bit of learning she's exhibited is going from cooking disgusting slop soups with enough salt to wipe out a small village to making food that, at times, looks edible. She'd probably just stop pretending and go full audio books.

Her "career" would something that absolutely would not be impacted at all by blindness if she were enterprising enough. The only changes would be that she'd probably forget to turn the lights on and stream in complete darkness and instead of totally factual journal entries she'd present us with totally factual voice recordings.

She can barely read as it is with fully functioning eyes. We've seen how see reads out everything on packaging and, while I won't judge anyone wanting to keep their books in good condition, Amber doesn't strike me as the type of person to care about spine cracking on books, and all her books are 'uncracked' whenever she's shown them.
It would 100% be audio books, along with a monologue about how she used to be such a big (lol) reader girlypop. Also her general aversion to learning or anything that requires effort..

My father went blind late in life. He was very fortunate to get the finest care from the VA. They sent him loads of adaptive equipment for the blind, including a computer with a reader app, things like special knives with guides so he wouldn't cut himself while chopping food, and a lot of other stuff. They even offered him a dog, but he declined.

They told him that in order to effectively learn Braille, the blindness has to start early in life. The most successful Braille readers start learning it before puberty. Much like learning a second language, learning Braille is very hard to do once certain developmental pathways in the brain are closed. It's still possible, of course, but the VA found it was not cost effective for them to teach Braille to people who were past their teens/early 20s due to the failure rate.

They did have a vast and lovely free library of audio books and provided a book reading machine for him, so that was nice. We used the shit out of it.

Yes! The Library for the Blind services through Library of Congress are awesome. There's now a site where you can download audiobooks very easily, with lots of titles that aren't on Audible. It's free and the application form is super minimal. To get a reader machine and tapes, I think you may need to have a doctor sign off that you can't see well, but to use the website I think you just fill in the online request form. https://www.loc.gov/nls/how-to-enroll/

Please, in the "how did you hear about us" box, be sure to give the Farms a shout-out. And funfact: The audiobooks are read aloud by prisoners. Too-tall wannabe cop Ed Kemper is one of their best voice actors.

Well considering that that thing about languages has been debunked and it turns out that adults are better at learning languages than children, I guess she could learn braille if she wanted to. But much like the language thing, it entirely depends on how much effort you're going to put in to learn it and use it.
It's not related to brain pathways, it's because by the time you reach adulthood, you have either already learned coping methods or workarounds, or you just don't have the time or resources to immerse yourself. This is why people who do 5 minutes of Duolingo a day aren't learning anything even though they're perfectly capable of doing so, while people who move country and are immersed 24/7, often end up close to native level.
