She makes way too much money to not be on the IRS' radar. DSP didn't really scoot by as he still owed taxes. He put a few more expenses on his taxes than he should but he also had sufficient back up for certain expenses. Amber isn't smart enough nor has enough work ethic to keep track of receipts or make a spreadsheet of expenses that can be used for her channel. She is on the hook for taxes on all the money she made in 2025 and with no job or income for the next few months, she won't have the money to pay it

Amber has mentioned many times over the years (right back to the gaycare era) that she has a tax accountant, puts aside 30%+ of her YouTube pay for taxes, and saves the receipts for everything used on her channel.

So it’s very possible some VP or C suite had to read that email, look into ALR videos, and say “oh god, fuck no- we don’t wanna monetize this mukbang whale.”

She is just next level stupid. This channel was demonetized, she’s not banned. She could do what Chantal did, make another channel, tell her viewers and they’ll follow her there. Just don’t talk about food or weight at all. It won’t be a 200k+ subscriber count, but so? She’d be monetized in no time.

She solid feels like a celebrity who should live in LA, a low-paying real world job isn’t going to work for many reasons, but mostly because she thinks she’s too good for it and needs the attention. Trying to get a YouTube audience to leave platform is hard, I vote that she calls up TLC and tells them she’s ready to get in the shower on camera now. Maybe get herself the next spin off show for them. Pitch them a 700 pound toddler looking for love type deal 🌈

Disagree. If people want to watch, and creators are taking the effort to make it then they should get paid.

It’s bullshit censorship. Social media and streaming channels are the modern equivalent of the town square and everyone should have equal opportunity to create content as freedom of expression. It doesn’t matter that it’s owned by private companies, as hosts of free expression they have a responsibility to make sure that they are not abusing their positions.

Realistically, depriving money to certain types of content strangles it. People cannot afford to work for free (much content takes more effort than Amber Lynn’s). The new rules aren’t just about demonetising fatties, but also, for example, not demeaning ideologies or groups, which will hinder politically incorrect opinions, and not showing “shocking” animal content - which will hinder animal charities’ investigations into slaughterhouses, etc.

Besides, YouTube and TikTok are basically the only jobs that defective people like Amber Lynn, Chantal and Eugenia can manage. Without this income, they will go on disability benefits and burden the taxpayer.
