Bedbugs reproduce in one of the most violent ways; the male will penetrate the female's abdomen (yep, she has 0 external reproductive organs) and stab straight into her uterus to inseminate. This is a messy and bloody ordeal, as you can imagine. Which, a lot of times, is where the little bloodstains from bedbugs come from (along with poop and human blood). If she has bed bugs, these can lay up to 5-6 eggs per day, and a single bedbug can live for up to a year (gross)! That's almost 600 eggs per year from ONE bedbug.

The crux of my point is this: Amber's bed probably looks like a blood bath. It'll be brown from old blood and red with fresh blood. This isn't even including where she's picking at her skin and bites and making them bleed onto her sheets. That alone will stop them from being the fresh, pearly-white heaven that Mama-lynn described.

Warmer conditions and a constant supply of food make them even harder to get rid of. This means someone who has animals, uses heated blankets/hot water bottles, or is very sweaty, will struggle ten times more than someone without these variables. Amber is also known to make nests of food around her bed, which obviously will make the food more readily available for them.

Furthermore, in regards to fleas, I can almost guarantee that Amber does not get vet-grade flea repellent (Stronghold is the best in my experience), and fleas that are seen by today's Vet practices are resistant to almost all over-the-counter flea treatments. Not to mention she would need to treat her house with 1. Flea bombs, which includes removing all living things from the house. Including cats and Twinkie. 2. Flea spray (Indorex is the one recommended by vets), this includes removing ALL furniture, treating it, vacuuming up the remainder, and then returning it back into the home. This has to be repeated at least once per day for the full cycle of a flea's life (a typical cycle lasts 1-3 months). An infestation, on average, if not using a contractor who is licensed to remove pests, takes up to 3 months to remove. We know Amber doesn't have the effort for this.

Thank you for listening to my splurge, TLDR: because of the way bedbugs get freaky, there's no way her sheets are clean. Also she has a flea infestation.
