It's fun to theorize, but personally I don't think it's unbelievable that the cat ran off. Sometimes when indoor cats get outside, they get so overstimulated and confused that they can run far away and without any sense of direction.

When ALR is freaking out and having a BPD meltie or whatever, her poor cats must get pretty scared. Imagine you're the cat: you're like 1 foot tall and 15lbs, and then the huge monster that you live with, who is like 40x your weight, starts screaming and stomping around like a mentally retarded elephant. Wouldn't you wanna GTFO of the area too? ALR's house must be Hell for the animals that she owns.

Generally, outdoor cats can find their way back home pretty easily if they're familiar with the area. Indoor cats don't have that same ability. Rarity and Gracie were both indoor cats (AFAIK) and weren't used to being outside. With Rarity, she didn't even have time to get used to Emily's area because she hadn't even been there that long.

Every feeder is sadistic and sociopathic - they get horny watching people suffer and die. A few months ago when a bunch of reactors started treating Emily like she was an innocent victim, it was super annoying because they whitewashed all of her own abusive and sadistic behaviours. All of the ass-kissing seemed to go straight to Emily's head because for a while it seemed like she thought she was a cause célèbre in gorlworld and in turn got too comfortable sharing imagined details and pouring gas on the fire.

I don’t believe the 4th story about rarity where emily leaves for 20 minutes, comes back inside for another 40 then goes to work. (besides for the obvious story changing and lack of evidence)

Wouldn’t have emily noticed she left the door open when she returned after 20 minutes and would’ve went to see if any of the pets had gotten out?

I doubt she’d exclude rarity when checking on the pets, unless we’re assuming she hates rarity and was like “oh rarity is missing she’s amber cat so fuck her”. I’m not saying emily is a good pet owner either, but emily has her own pets that I doubt she wanted to escape.

The only "evidence" we have about the door is the pizza delivery that happened before the text message about rarity missing. Becky and Amber have confirmed in both words and videos that Rarity is a clingy cat (And emily too I guess), so the big question is when did that pizza delivery happen and did Emily ever come back in the house after the delivery. Since nobody wants to release videos, this is the best we have. Emily and Amber saying something means jack shit

I figured something like that happened to scare Rarity into streaking away when she got or was put out. But Emily indicated that she had gotten out before and a part of me wonders (hopes) that Emily’s house may be known for insane women shrieking and fighting and sitting outside in the truck in the dead of night and a maybe sympathetic neighbor let Rarity in the last time they saw her out and just kept her.

edit: I think Amber is anticipating that Emily will release the BPD meltdown videos, so she's pulling up excuses as to why the way she acted was justified (ie i'm a victiiiim) If Emily will actually release it is a different question.
