Yeah, that’s kinda the whole point of a typing test. If you’re typing random bullshit onto your computer really fast it doesn’t really count, it not only shows how versed you are with the location of the keys, but also how quickly you remember. This is such a redundant issue I don’t know why she keeps fighting this.

My biggest question is why she's spending so much time focusing on her typing speed. It's been weeks and she's still talking about it. Whether she types 30 or 150 WPM, it doesn't matter. It means nothing. It's not impressive. Yet she's made a dozen Snapchat posts and is constantly answering questions about her TYPING SPEED as if everyone is begging to know the intimate details of her sausage fingers stroking the keys. She dedicates large portions of her "WFH" videos focus about it. Is her life really that empty, or is this a sad attempt to hyperfocus on something so banal, she hopes it'll make people forget about Rarity?

Decided to calculate Amber's actual typing speed since she's been parading it around so much, so here's what I calculated:

She uses TypingAcademy, and uses the Typing Test as you can see it lists her WPM was 85.4. It's cropped out, but after doing the same test she did I got a better view of what this WPM means.

This website calculates WPM based off of (Characters typed / 5) / minutes typed. Meaning it only calculates your gross wpm and not your net wpm which takes into account your mistakes and can inflate your score. Amber types for 2 minutes on the live so that's where I got that value from.

To calculate her actual typing speed, you plug in the values into this equation, which is: 85.4 - (55/2).

Therefore, her actual typing speed adjusted according to her mistakes is 57.9wpm. Considering the difficulty of the test is very easy, she could easily be -10wpm less than that. So, I would say it's closer to 47.9wpm. Which is about exactly average, or slightly above if you're being generous.

Amber is now calling out Mr Snowflake for deleting messages with Emily, and is ignoring her having spammed Emily about the hospital. She’s also accusing Emily of sexual harassment and asking for belly pics but refusing to release receipts even though she “has them”.
