I just hope that reaction channels are downloading shit-tons of older Amber videos, because she’s probably going to go on a deleting spree to try to wipe out evidence.

Edited to add: I’m not an attorney, but some of my best friends are litigators. I pity the fool that has to do discovery on this or any Amber-related case. Imagine someone with no prior experience with lolcows having to work his or her way through Amber’s back catalogue. The mind boggles.

You are missing the best part of this. If the court case is over zoom, everyone gets to join. Just imagine pookie in a zoom call with tens of thousands of people that are unmuted because the admin working at the court doesn't know how to set up a zoom that mutes people and requires a specific permission to talk
 
You guys are setting your expectations way too high for small claims court. I was just there this morning and I was bored to tears. Idk how OKC does it, but here it’s a mixture of traffic violations, minor offenses like shoplifting and lawsuits under a certain amount of money. The judge does all traffic violations and misdemeanor offenses in alphabetical order. Then they move on to small claims. The judge takes both parties into his chambers. That part isn’t out in the open. I’ve also seen protective orders/restraining orders done the same way.

Just like everything else surrounding this corner of the internet, it will be a nothing burger. Don’t get excited.

Disclaimer I'm not an expert but ive just done some more research. But the way I think small claims works is tammy will need to prove she is owed this exact dollar amount. And I'm assuming it's actually not debt but based off amber causing "personal injury". She's going to need to prove the injury/damages amber caused her costed her this exact amount of money. She would need like a medical bill such as therapy. Small claims only deals with money itself. I don't think she has a way to win besides amber not showing up. She would have more of a case actually with slander but that would be dealt in civil court and she would need a laywer to have a chance at winning. Where is this laywer she was talking about?? Yeah so most likely this will turn into nothing.

100% this. I just looked up the oklahoma small claims court rules, Tammie has nothing on Amber in this regard. The best thing we'll get out of this is the family feud and an a-log getting video of Amber waddling her fatty ass into the courthouse. Just poor white trash filing frivolous shit, as per usual.

The court case being over zoom is the only way amber would show up. This most likely will be:

There's no way emily would deal with ambers bullshit. The juice isnt worth the squeeze, if anyone's around its gotta be someone else. I was wondering whether Becky might think “Hey! I want to sue Amber, too!” So I asked one of my legal connections about breach of contract cases and found out that the rules are determined by individual states.

In Kentucky, you can sue for breach of a written contract for up to 15 years, but for an oral contract (say, Amber telling everyone that Becky was getting paid to be in the livestreams) it’s only five years. For fraud (taking Becky’s inheritance) again you only have five years from the moment you realized the fraud had occurred.

I am pretty ignorant about legal matters and didn’t go into too much detail, (and I wonder whether the rules would be different about so-called “oral contracts” if someone recorded herself promising to pay someone and then uploaded this statement to the internet where literally hundreds of thousands of people have seen it.)

Still, I came to the conclusion that if Becky had sued Amber for breach of contract in 2020, or gone after her for fraud after her mother died (which would have been roughly at the same time, since she really only needed the money to move out) there would have been a chance that she would have seen some money.

At this point, it seems that she’s fucked. But I hope this encourages everyone else to jump in now and sue the shit out of her, even if it’s just for scaring potential customers away from your bingo hall.
 
There's been lots of informative posts on here at the moment. I think a lot of you are right, unfortunately, it can be quite hard to prove emotional or physical damages if that is what Tammy is suing our dainty gorl for.

However, if Tammy is suing for damages from slander (i.e, Tammy lost her job, her income changed due to Amber's claims, or the claims are of a life changing crime that can cause damage to her reputation) Tammy might have a case. I do wish that she would get a lawyer, but she's specifically paid a fee of $150.00 to up the claim for damages over $5000, so she's obviously been advised that she has a case, this also doesn't include all of the cleric charges, court date charges, judge assignment charges, etc. Tammy has paid all of them so far, from what I can see at least. She really thinks that she has a case.

Even if she doesn't win, she's won to me. She's the only person so far who's had big enough balls to take on this mountain of lard and force it outdoors to face her legally.

I wonder if it will affect her attitude in the future, she's used to running her mouth and getting away with it. I doubt she will ever change, as she's never shown signs of being capabale of that, but it does make you think a bit on whether or not this will be the things that pushes her to keep her gob shut.

Then again, cancer didn't scare her into making lifestyle choices, I don't think small claims court will.

I just wanted to add this in here so i'm not clogging up the thread with loads of messages, Amber has gone on record and admitted that she abused Becky. There's multiple clips of her admitting abuse and using the word abuse too. I think it would be pretty cut and dry.

Becky should do that. Imagine having to wipe someone's ass for years. Let's not forget the fact that Hamber didn't allow her to get a job. As much as everyone would like that, the sad part is it would be hard process since there have been years since that. Possible lawsuit, but hard to follow through.

Stealing someone's 5000$ heritage is a felony. But, again, the time gap will make it a hard process. Prison is also possible if the lawsuit follows through. If Becky gets a good lawyer, she could win the case and put Hamber in debt.

She could also sue for abuse. But she needs proof, which I guess could be proven by her family or Eric and Ricky. This could end in Hamber having to give her a certain amount of money, more than 10k considering they were together for for years.

All in with a good lawyer, if everything is proven with evidence, Hamber can lose at least 5000$ or more. One sad thing is that everything happened years ago. Emotional abuse charges are available only for 5 years in Kentucky, meaning that it's a bit too late. But that centers around the attorney, they could allow the charges even after the time gap.

Anyhow, I hope we get a jail saga. Hamber can't order doordash or eat anything unhealthy. Prison has shit, ratio food so she'll maybe lose weight, who knows.

How would any of that be possible when Beck agreed at the time to put it, despite not liking the arrangement, in their common bank account for their common expenses and then blew through it right alongside Amber to buy more Cocoa Puffs and Rugrats t-shirts?

TLDR -
Tammy's Uncle has passed away
Tammy is leaving the state for 5 days
She's very confident in her case and has been advised that it is 'cut and dry', she's convinced she's easily going to win
She's shocked that Amber made these horrible accusations
She does have legal advice, and they have advised her that she had a bigger case that would have won in a bigger court, but she didn't want to drag it on for a long period of time, and it would cost a lot more money.
She intends to set the record straight, make Amber publicly apologise, as this claim could damage her in the future. She wants Amber to take accountability for her statement and revoke it.
The most you can claim in small claims court in OK is up to $10,000; apparently, her legal advice told her she could have a case of upwards of $50,000 just from mental stress. Tammie gets her 'crazy check' as Amber said, which works in Tammie's favour as she can easily link this to her mental health now. Done fucked up a bit there, Amber... oof
She doesn't want to destroy Amber financially, she doesn't think she even had that money, and she doesn't think Amber has savings either like Amber claimed.
Tammie is absolutely convinced without a doubt that she will win this lawsuit, as advised by her legal advisor.
She didn't share the spaghetti story to make fun of Amber, but to highlight that it was the first big memory that she has of Amber.
Apparently, her daughter has sent Amber's dad a message talking about how Tammie came to Calafornia and met Amber, which is proof to back up some of the stories she has.
She also has 4-5 pictures with time stamps and dates on them using an old camera (June 14th, 2008 ), which shows that she was there too, and that Amber was lying.
Tammie hopes that Amber meets someone else in another state and moves away and leaves the family alone to go and live her miserable life, where Mama-lynn still has a chance.
She feels like her opportunity of being an Aunt was ripped away from her because of her sister's abuse.
Tammie claims she has two nephews who are in and out of prison, and two nephews who were taken away into the foster system, and that Amber was her last chance of having an Auntie/Niece relationship
Apparently, Jade is the only one who gave a shit about Aunt Tammie and even gave her a personal Christmas gift, and seemed like the only partner who actually genuinely cares about Amber and made her make positive decisions and changes in her life.
The feeder arc was the end of it for Tammie, Mama-lynn wouldn't listen to her, Amber wouldn't listen to her. She tried to tell them how dangerous this was for Amber's health but they held no space for it.
Amber told her Auntie that she already knew and didn't care that Emily was a feeder, and Mama-lynn then messages Tammie telling her not to stir the pot which are the screenshots that she then released on her youtube.
The case doesn't say slander or defamation but Tammie did put those on the form so it should be updated soon. Slander and defemation for $10,000 and a public apology revoking the statement.
They have a hearing date, it was going to be October 27th but it's been changed to after November 1st now, she's unsure on the exact date as she needs to go back to the courthouse after the cruise she's going on for her anniversary.
