Correct, I know the exact layout of Emily's house as like 50% of the houses in Wisconsin are like this.

First floor is 1 half of house including a living room and kitchen, then there's a half staircase up and a half staircase down to the other half of the house, which is technically 2 stories. The down stairs is "basement" and upstairs is bedrooms. The basement is technically a half floor down. Not many houses have a screen door out from there, Emily's house is not on a hill so it wouldn't be practical.
 
Split level is not 2 story (or a bi-level).

Typically split level homes have a more staggered arrangement to the different floors with shorter flights of stairs leading to each one. Bi-level just has an entire second floor plastered on top of the first and connected via a longer stairway.

The 1st story of a split level is typically on ground level, but will 'split' with other rooms into an elevated floor possibly on top of a half-sunk floor, or a staggered basement level. The layout is usually segmented and cramped, which is why they're not as popular as traditional storied houses and sell for much less.

I don't know her layout, either, but a lot of homes in the Upper Midwest are a walkout style - basements are fully built out and have doors to the outside (that's the "walkout" part) and patio space out the door(s). The lower level often has bedrooms as well as living/ communal/ recreational spaces and a lot of (often quite large) windows. Sliding glass would be very possible.

When you go in the front door of a walkout (whether ranch or split-level, you're on the main (first) floor - it's ground-level (or near) in the front. But at the back of the house, ground-level is a level down.

Midwest gets tornadoes, having a basement isn’t some kind of revelation, it’s a smart idea. Not even a few weeks ago, Oshkosh got warned for severe weather. In fact, Wisconsin averages 23 tornadoes a year. Part of why some tornadoes outbreaks have been so bad was because the areas hit didn’t have basements or adequate tornadoes shelters, and that affects how tornadoes are rated. Open field, high wind tornado gets a low rating. Same tornado that has the same speed and size that hits a mobile home park gets a different rating than if it hits properly structured homes.

And maybe Emily hasn’t released any evidence regarding rarity because it partly damns her. That or it doesn’t exist. If you don’t have a Ring subscription for example, it won’t save videos.

That's totally what I've been thinking too. At the very least, it's not unlikely.

Like I said in another post this past weekend, Amber has been boring as shit lately and her views have been cratering. I stopped paying attention to her a few months ago. This drama seems to be very well-timed.
 
The whole basement situation reminds me of Rekieta and other pieces of white trash that just leave their animals in a room/ crate when they dont want to deal with them. I can see them just leaving the animals down there with pee pads and food because they dont want to deal with the animals and their various unwanted behaviors, ie peeing all over the place and barking

I imagine if not Sadism, then specifically humiliation. Seems like Emily got off on humiliating Megan DIB, keeping her in a basement and drip-feeding her protein shakes. From the pictures we saw from Colleen, it seems they had some kind of humiliation dynamic with Colleen telling Emily things like 'she's under my belly where she belongs', 'feeding me is all she's good for', etc. Seems like Emily was the one who liked being humiliated, and that tracks with how she reacted when all of the feeder shit came out. 'I never lied about my preferences'. It wouldn't surprise me if she's trying to change the dynamic with Amber to see if she likes it or not.

Utterly hilarious that a couple of steps between multi-levels in a home is enough to stop this whale, although I doubt Justin Feeder would have been able to silence her shrieking, I feel like when I mute her lives to give my ears a bit of a break from her wailing, I can almost still hear her. It's unfortunate, and the only victims in this story are the animals. I'm just praying that their deaths aren't slow and painful. Medical neglect can fuck up an animal's mental health, on top of having a screeching toddler in your house 24/7. There's a reason shelters are reluctant to adopt out animals to families with young children: it just terrifies the animals. If anything Emily says is right (which I do think there is some credibility in her claims), then Twinkie was so afraid of Amber screeching that she ran under the legs of a woman she'd only known for 3 months. On top of that - small tangent - why the fuck is her dog not secured in a car? I've said this before on this forum, but ALL animals need to be secured in a car. Not only would it risk distracting the driver, but if that car crashed, poor Twinkie would be found flying out of the windshield and exploding on the road. Disgusting and, yet again, neglectful behaviour from Amber.

You have to think back on even back in the Kystle era, where she was trying to film her on the toilet. Destiny era where she did the same, filming her in her underwear, trying to film her in the shower, trying to film Libby (a child) in the shower. Again, same with Beck, look how much she humiliated Beck with sly comments about appearance, weight, etc. Filming Beck in unflattering positions, during traumatic moments of her life (the death of a parent). She gets off on the idea of humilating her partner and having her partners being laughed at, it makes her feel good, and it makes her feel powerful.

She's always given me those vibes, she gets off on making her partner feel humiliated, even if she doesn't realise it (i think she does). When Kaicey or whatever the fuck its called transitioned, Amber spoke to Destiny about it during her place of work, talking about how weird it was that one of her exes used to tape their boobs and that they changed their name and 'thinks they're a boy now'.

The humiliation fetish definitely comes from her being ridiculed online and irl. It's a coping mechanism. She knows people make fun of her and her whole life is shit, so she takes it out on her partners. Most of the time it's reflecting, she makes fun of Beck's weight because she's too narcissistic to criticize herself for her fatness. She subconsciously knows she looks bad in underwear, and she takes it on her partners. She's also trying for people to mock her partners instead of her. The humiliation it's a form of abuse turned fetish for her.
