Amber probably got desperate and freaked out in an attempt to control Emily. Emily doesnt have intellectuall deficiencies like her other partners and isnt financially dependant on amber. Amber has no leverage other than threats of violence or attempts at control/manipulation and i think amber calling her mom to bitch but wouldn't pull the trigger on mommalynn getting in a car and saving her is proof amber just used it as a tactic to manipulate the situation. If ambers mom really did know everything, a mom who loves her kid will go get them from harm. I think amber used her mom as a way to triangulate Emily and make her bend the knee but Emily just wanted her gone and wouldn't partake in the messed up situation unfolding before her.
