You can be abused by someone physically weaker than you, AKA Amber being an obese megatard. Emotional, psychological, it would be extremely naive and retarded to simply say "just leave", abuse and emotional manipulative can be incredibly complex and for those who say "just walk away" can't seem to grasp that.
It's very easy for an outsider like you or me to simply say, "Just walk away. She can barely walk for 5 seconds without getting out of breath." But while you can physically walk about, what about emotionally walking away? It's a lot harder, especially if you really love and care for someone or if financial obligations may be involved.
But anyway, everyone involved in this community is trash, and I would not have sex with any of them. Thank god I'm gay.

Standard intro and then straight into the first meal: air fried chicken sausage, mac n cheese, raw onion(?), raw carrot. What follows is a series of lowkey feeder shots. Also truly horrifying phallic imagery with her eating that sausage.
Next we see the food she had at Bingo and I'm gonna be real, I have my laptop on the lowest brightness rn cuz I'm knocking this recap out in the university library while I have time and I cannot identify this slop.
My best guess is Jalapenos with cheese and chili dumped on...chips? Anyway, after bingo we're back home and Amber is having another carrot. She is goying out over peeling carrots and how satisfying it is. So oBsEsSed, you GuIzE! Next meal is that carrot, some salami, black olives, brie cheese and triscuits.
More feeder shots and Amber says she had "Loaded Tots" at bingo, which Ig clears that up. We get some idle meaningless conversation masking as "engagement" before she shows us her food journal. She tells us how it's set up, but she doesn't actually show it, so I'm not gonna go into detail bc we're likely hardly ever gonna see that thing again. She bought herself a Brita filter and asspats herself for drinking sink water.
For dessert, she's having some chocolate.

That’s one thing that always struck me about the “well why don’t they just LEAVE” comments that people make about Amber’s abuse. Amber is in THEIR house! What Beggy & Emily should have done was try and lure Amber outside, do a quick dodge manoeuvre then quickly run back in locking the door behind them. I guess they’d then have to throw her stuff and pets out the window (is that how Rarity escaped)? whilst blocking out the screeching and hoping the neighbours don’t call the Police.
I think we keep missing the point that Amber moves into someone else’s space. Yes, you can easily avoid her flailing fists but it’s harder to leave when you were there first. Imagine being physically attacked in your own home by a 500lb lump that you didn’t want there in the first place. How do you even get her out if she doesn’t want to go?

I’ve thought about this also. Emily probably wouldn’t have had a problem locking her out and telling her to get lost. I think Becky would have had a much harder time; Amber had lived there for a number of years and Beggy probably would have had to go through the court system to get Amber out. No way in hell she (Becky) would have had the
stick-to-itness to accomplish that.

I find most people who say 'just leave' have been in those situations themselves, and that's literally the only 'advice' you can give. At some point the victim needs to realize that their abuser will never change because they're choosing to be a cunt, and the only 2 options available are to stay and be unhappy or maybe even murdered, or leave and work through the grief to come out the other side. Women have endless resources to help them escape those situations nowadays, it's not like she's having to fuck the local chemist for some untraceable poisons.

But Emily said Amber 'used more than words', implying physical violence. As others have said, you can literally just walk away from Amber, so any physical abuse is basically consented to at this point. Emily could go upstairs and Amber wouldn't be able to get her.
It was an online relationship for like 6(?) months, no one is taking that seriously enough to not be able to walk away. We already knew Amber was a rebound after Colleen died, so I doubt there was any real feelings there from Emily. So it's easy for her to ditch the drama-ho as soon as Amber went home.
Anyway, I was almost right about more Emily drama but I'm more entertained that Rachel pussied out after trying so hard to be both an understanding and sympathetic centrist, and cash in on increasingly becoming an Amber channel. There is a good likelihood that she indeed has cancer, being obese and physical inactive highly increases the risk for cancer. This triggered a really odd memory; remember in gaycare around 100 Days of Uploading, we all picked up on the tension between them and how much Becky hated her. (Which turned out to be correct, Becky was trying to break up with her and Amber said no) We started to discuss what Becky would need to do to get Amber out if she refused to leave. It was during her popular era, so eventually Amber responded to it, through the comment of the day, I believe, and she said how she'd never stay somewhere, she wasn't wanted, and she'd just leaving if things went bad, blah blah? We all clocked it as really fucking weird that Amber knew each step in the process for someone who claims to never have been evicted. We all said she outsmarted Becky by just sounding like she knew what they'd have to do to get her out and rightly bet that it would be too much work.

As far as “abuse,” Emily is no victim. ALR has years of content with her partners including all the drama and gaslighting on display for everyone to watch. Emily successfully kicked Amber back to OKC just before Christmas last year, and Amber claimed that she left because the winter in Wisconsin are too cold. But, she said that she will be back there as soon as spring comes along. Yet, she is still in OKC. I think that if they are still together, Emily just wants a long-distance relationship. Emily is stupid enough to get together with Amber, but not stupid enough to invite her to move in a second time. I think that Emily learned her lesson.
I wonder if Amber's current health issues have been used by her to ask Emily for help.
