It would be disturbing for an otherwise relatively normal person but this is a land whale that does/has done literally nothing every waking hour for years. She does nothing but obsess over food and come up with ways to manipulate and abuse others for amusement because she has nothing else to do. Imagine what you'd come with to entertain yourself or pass time if you did nothing, were mostly immobile, too lazy to do anything about it, and constantly raging on the inside because you know it's your own fault. Amber is actually insane in the most literal sense. The only way she can even function to feign normal behavior is through denial and delusion, which is why she needs the online existence.

Becky's claim that Amber didn't get physically abusive only because she was bedbound seems to check out, if you ask me.

At least you can sort of trace choosy to some sort of boring game an adult might play with a very young child to pass the time, which would at least support Amberlynn's state of arrested development. The lint picking sounded way more sick to me. You have to pity Amberlynn for thinking at any point that these are acceptable pastimes for adults to share. It does actually give Rita from Arrested Development.

You're not actually learning coping strategies or actively changing how you think. It's how your traumatic memories are stored. Personally, I think it's all bullshit.

That being said: DBT is the gold standard for treating BPD. DBT is clinically proven to help those suffering with BPD and PTSD/c-PTSD. EMDR does not, in fact, EMDR has been shown to exacerbate BPD symptoms.

As someone who had to get a shit ton of testing done to get my BPD and ADHD diagnosis, DBT therapy was instrumental in my journey for not letting the BPD control my life. Unfortunately I suffer from Bipolar 1 so I can't be medicated for ADHD because it makes me manic as fuck.

I fucking hated CBT. If Amber is seeing a regular therapist who utilizes CBT, she's not going to get anything out of it because Amber is a retarded narcissist and the tools the therapist would use to challenge her distorted thinking would be lost on her. She'd view it as an attack and narc rage.

I highly doubt Amber has BeePeeDee, which I know has been stated multiple times before. If anything, she has NPD, which BPD can co-morbid, but she ticks a lot more boxes for NPD than she does BPD.

I highly doubt she's seeing a therapist in person, she's probably using Better Help or someshit. It wouldn't surprise me if she started doing Better Help sponsorships on her channel in the future, though I highly doubt any company would ever want to be affiliated with her.

Amber is aggressively stupid and I think she was telling on herself with the cigarette comment. I'm in the wheelhouse that Emily and Amber are still together, just in secret, but we know how terrible Amber is at keeping those. I think that Emily wasn't expecting Amber to move her pets and shit into her house so soon (ignoring the lesbians moving in together quickly trope), I think she was expecting her relationship with Amber to be like her previous relationship: one where she could go visit and get her rocks off and then leave. Whilst Amber is looking for a full time live in wiper/caretaker/soft love whatever the fuck, Emily likes to keep her fatties at a distance. The dynamic is one that doesn't suit Amber's needs, and the only reason I think that she's still entertaining the long distance weirdness is because she's a narc who needs the validation of having a gf who's actually attracted to her gargantuan size.

So, yeah, I think Emily is definitely still in the picture.
 
Remember during the Jade Era when Amber bought a lint bin? And Jade was like "Stoooop I had that in my Amazon cart, too!"

Everyone thought the purchase was so odd at the time, but maybe it had a purpose. Do you think Amber made Jade play the lint-picking game with her and she bought the lint bin for Jade to throw the imaginary lint in?

I’m not a young rabbit anymore and I’ve seen and experienced plenty of dysfunctional behaviour but have to admit the lint picking really brought me up short. I can’t begin to understand it. And it’s doubly weird in that Amber had to think about that and ASK it.

But Becky also had to agree and I just can’t fathom that.

The only thing that begins to make sense to me is that Amber wanted to see just how much control she had.

Not only did she ask for it, she made it a ROUTINE. She knew Becky didn't like it and yet insisted on doing this one specific task over and over again... what kind of mental illness even is that?

Also, is the choosey game like an impulse control thing? Like she can't just look at a full box of trinkets and pick one that she likes, she has to compare all of them together in order to make that decision, but then why make Becky do it? And she didn't even throw out the rest, she would just keep all of them, even the ones she didn't pick??

First time I've been this flabbergasted at a cow in a while...
 
Oh shit, I missed that this was a routine.

The choosy game; I’m laughing. I play a version of that with my 18 month old grandson to help him learn to categorize and sort basic shapes and colours. I just can’t wrap my head around any of that.

Even more unfathomable to me. So far in the years I’ve followed Amber, she seems to have had no issue attracting suckers to take her in.

I’m going to be very interested to see if she can continue to “attract” even these very low value and/or fetish filled women.

In and of herself, she has nothing to offer but a ton of headaches. Are there still idiots who want to chase Amber related clout or her money? She’s not making that much anymore.

As kids when we were asked to sit for assemblies and such, it wasn't uncommon for the girl in front of you to ask for her hair braided or her back tickled. I think the lint picking thing is harkening back to the school age that Amber is stunted at and she wants to have her back tickled because it itches. Since she most likely can't reach her back to wash it, it probably itches constantly.

That's my theory on the imaginary lint picking.

On another note, why the fuck is she always roaming pantless at home? Shouldn't her inner thigh "regions" be chaffed to pulp at this point? Slight PL I guess but when I gain a bit of weight not having the layer of fabric beween my thighs feels horrible, especially in the summer when it's hot and you're sweating. And our gworl sweats buckets by default. So...
 
I would go out on a limb and say the arbitrary sorting of things can be relaxing, but that's when you do it alone, not make someone else do it.
 
I think it might be autism i am just saying choosy is a common autism activity, look up object categorizing autism. Yes i know it is wild to call her tistic but the activity she was engaging is just too textbook not to mention

She had Krystle play that choosey shit with her weekly one particular such game she showed on her fledgling yt channel was she would finger-fuck her entire earring collection to find THE best earring and if memory serves it took several hours to do....
