This appears to be the scale she has, it does have a weight limit of 550 and a margin of error of 0.2 lbs.
The manual says if it's overloaded, it will display" FFFF." She also shouldn't keep it in the bathroom because of the humidity, but who doesn't keep their scale in the bathroom? You'd think they would be more humidity-proof. The reviews are great, with 74% 5 stars on Amazon. A lot of the one or two-star reviews are that the scale isn't accurate but only by 5 or 10 pounds.

Also, she didn't remove the film over it before using it which would drive me crazy.
In conclusion, I think she is 507 or whatever the scale says. The only way it wouldn't be accurate is if the battery was low(which there is a display for) or if it was on a carpet (And she is clearly on wooden floors). I'd understand if it was off if she was weighing in at 570 or 580 or something closer to the weight limit but It is only 507, I don't see it critically failing almost 100 pounds from its capacity. She looks so much bigger because she's older and her skin hangs more and she's probably swollen all the time from her shitty diet. Good catch! My dumbass was thinking 600 was the weight limit while I wrote the second half of my message. But I still don't see it critically failing by 20 or 30 pounds. I'd love her to record weighing back to back to see if it's the same, that would easily prove if the scale was working properly. I also went back and rewatched the Instagram videos and there is a cut between her first showing the scale to her weighing herself. She could have put a carpet or shirt or anything under it to change the number.

I think @Peepeekakaland summed it up beautifully about Becky. Look trust me I totally get the struggle ( been there) of life outside of being a caretaker. Plus with her mom being sick it's a good chance that caretaking might be one of the only things Becky has known. Plus it's very common in more poor and rural families.
