Her aunt specifically said this at one point forever ago. It's why they were estranged until recently- Amber would keep brow beating her mom to the point where it threatened her sobriety

She has said many times, in many videos, that she got 3rd degree burns from microwave ramen noodles, or was it pasta? in a trailer or somewhere else; she did or didn't seek medical care, and she has never had a single unsightly scar.

No one has ever believed any of the abuse and injury stories. None of them are ever told the same way twice. One reactor made a compilation of all the different stories she's told about her broken arm and legs. She just makes up whatever she thinks you want to hear to give her an excuse to not be held accountable for her behavior.

Powerlevel but I got second degree burns as a kid from an accident with boiling water, I was in serious pain for two weeks and had dark ugly scars for 15 years. ALR is a goddamn liar.

It's the NPD Smirk. She shows it most when she's REALLY feeling herself and starts going after other YT'ers. It's the 'wow i totally GOT em, im so proud of myself' smirk.

It happens a lot during the 'discard phase' of NPD, which would make sense with her saying the most vile shit to ZM out of nowhere. She wants to feel powerful, so she's burning bridges. (Though she can just stand on the bridge and break it that way, but whatever!)
 
I can't be quoting everyone but those stories and injuries I mentioned Hamber talking about were never made out to be abuse. She thought they were interesting factoids. I'm stressing the fact she thought those stories were all cute and funny whilst also saying her childhood was full of abuse at the same time but the super interesting, unique injuries and ''abuse'' never became merged.

Someone else already backed up the 3rd degree burns. She told that story with a big grin as if it was all shits and giggs (the most obvious lie due to her bragging about magically healing with no scars). Again, didn't imply it was abuse. That was never in question.
These claims (the choking, burning, breaking) were never painted as abuse by her, that was not my point. My point was those lies were pushed to be special and unique not abused but in an abusive home, they would be* a problem.

To be such a rigid and inflexible person, Hambur sure keeps her stories fluid. Whatever she needs to say to portray herself as dainty/vulnerable/quirky/unique/a damsel in distress/etc., facts be damned.
I see red when Amber starts going on about her “abuse” because it’s always the same; person X was so overcome with lust at the sight of her that they couldn’t control themselves. Like being raped directly correlates to your level of attractiveness. That alone tells me she was never sexually abused. She was probably bullied a lot by other kids, but adults telling a super morbidly obese kid to put down the chips isn’t bullying.

For recent evidence, see Emily's first visit. The apartment was pristine and Amber was clean, hair and make up done etc.

Thanks for the burns explainer - I am lucky enough to have never needed to know this myself, but it puts into perspective the lies that a number of cows use for sympathy/bragging/grifting.
