While the fact that she is essentially just an inferior replacement to Tommy must eat away at her, I wonder if it's the biggest contributor to her current state of mind.

Maybe I'm missing a specific era, but I believe this may be the least amount of power our gorl ever had over her current partner.
  • She has no money to lovebomb someone with, or with which to entice someone's trash family (not that that'd work on Tommy's family anyway)
  • She is not providing someone with a place to stay
    • On the contrary, she's currently depending on someone else for that, and unlike other times, she can't even guilt-trip them with her impending homelessness cuz she has a place in Oklahoma
  • Tommy, while obviously a deviant, does not seem like the kind to be intimidated or manipulated that easily (compared to other GFs anyway)
  • Tommy makes her own money and is unwilling to quit her job for Amber
    • Tommy interacts with other women at that job
    • Even if she lost her job, Tommy seems fit and able, and nursing staff are always in demand so she'd have no trouble finding something new
  • Amber can no longer hope to simply pick out another desperate lesbian on dating apps since, even in that demographic, she's no longer not the worst option
  • Nearly all bridges she had were crushed under the combined weight of her fetid body and her even more vile personality
I believe that lack of control gets to Amber more than anything, but Tommy is pm our gorl's only hope right now, so she can't even act too cunty. For that reason, I'd guess this insta post will only be adressed in a dismissive Q&A and a missable mention in her next video. So, sitting in someone else's home, unable to go anywhere on her own and likely under some sort of ruleset and without any alternative, that choker must be feeling tighter by the minute.
All in all, this either sets the stage for our gorl's final arc of death via feeder, or a rapid descend into her already everpresent vices, leading to an alcoholism and narc rage-fueled confrontation and breakup.
Though, considering the general dryness of the current content, that latter one is probably too much ask for.

I wonder how much Emily being a mother bothers Amber? Parenting is the ultimate connection to another person, and Amber has never felt that connection. You can't be more dependant on a person than when you literally need them to survive.

A little girl is a lot more sympathetic than big ol' Amber, and Emily still seems to see her daughter regularly. The kid is cute. I bet when Amber and Emily go to bars, the people around them lead with, "Hey Emily, how's your daughter?"

Very optimistic to assume that "empath" Amberlynn even takes a second to think about how Emily might be feeling and what Emily is thinking at any given moment. All that matters to Amber is how Amber feels and how Emily makes her feel. As long as Emily says all the right things to Amber and stuffs her full of food, what she's thinking and feeling doesn't even cross Amber's mind whatsoever.

She doesn't have enough self awareness to realize she is a rebound and maybe Emily is just using her the same way Amber is using her. Because to Amber she is the navel of the universe and everything centers around her, obviously Emily absolutely ADORES her and finds her much more exciting and attractive than her ex. Amber thinks she is the hottest woman alive and anyone would be happy to have her. I genuinely think that whenever a woman breaks up with Amber it comes out of nowhere for her, she never sees it coming because she doesn't notice how they slowly get exhausted by her, how annoying she is, how they are feeling depressed, controlled and trapped by her etc. She is too busy admiring herself with her tiktok filters and writing about her own feelings and thoughts in her journals to even perceive anyone else around her feeling miserable.

The categories of fucked up relationships among our cows are interesting.

Amber, Chantal and Anna treat people the same way, except Anna lives alone and demands her handful of minions also like Disney and cheap crafts. Both Amber and Chantal don't care about their partners as long as the partners act a certain way. All three use money to make people behave.

Polissa and Kelly don't give a fuck about their spouses, and contribute zero money or effort. I'm not sure how Tess would act if she could actually land a boyfriend, but probably in the Polissa and Kelly category.

April Lauren seems to wish her husband loved her, and tries to larp as a homemaker. She notices other people's feelings and tries to fool them into thinking she's more functional than she is. It's funny to think that April is the closest to "normal".

Chantal would probably be the worst roommate of the bunch, but Amber is a close 2nd.

There are two things that come to mind.

On the one hand, there is the fact that Amber herself has stated that Amber doesn't see her own size, likely that is a combination of both delusion and the fact that she doesn't have full length mirrors. There's a couple of times she admits to being shocked when seeing herself in full length mirrors when she goes shopping.

However, I think on some oft suppressed and silenced level, she knows just what kind of freak she is.

There is a moment all the way back from the gaycare era, perhaps a Farmer more organized than me can pull it up, but during a moment where Amber was jist chilling in the garden, dangling her feet baretrotter. Our unaware hoglet was then ambushed by Eric (or whoever was manning the camera), and, being caught off guard, instinctively, Amber tries to smush together her feet in a vain attempt to hide them.

Though who knows what's happening in that ever-smoothening brain of hers nowadays.

This isn't Amber's video, but that clip starts at 2:06. Also, notice how pink her left foot was. Was she dealing with a bout of cellulitis that she didn't tell her audience about? (The first case we've seen her deal with was in 2019)
